GG's. Yep, you definitely made a lot of progress since the last time we played. It's crazy to see how fast you can adapt to the matchup when using a new character. Your Dhalsim will eventually be as dominant (and annoying) as your Sagat.

I should know better than to try and fight at this spot anyway... Sorry DROQQA, i wanted to fight you awhile ago, but i was about to fight Wedia, and found out the wifi was too slow, hopefully sometime soon we can battle.
Just played tenonez again, got my ass handed to me 0/5. Starting to get the matchup a little more. Couple keys: Balrog's the opposite of Cammy, and really most characters. When in doubt, block high vs. him - all his big combos are out of that ex overhead smash. Don't jump back against him. That headbutt has insane range.
this guy kick my sagat's ass all day, also, even though he's Fei is not as scary as his balrog, but still probably the best fei I have ever played.
I hate playing tenonez, he plays a super lame strategy that I just find too boring. He is hella good, just not very fun.
I've had too much to drink and it's time to play SFIV and lose all my BP. Sober me is going to be so pissed. Edit: I'm beginning with 1305 BP (that's low, but I recently reinstalled again. My record is 34/13... which is actually pretty low for me. I've had a bad few days :/ ). I bet I have 300 by the time I'm done.
DROQQA: Good games. This matchup is one of my more frustrating ones. It's hard to get in on Sagat easily with Balrog since a lot of things are a guess. If I do one wrong headbutt or charge punch, I'm eating: A: Down K+ Tiger Knee B: Tiger Uppercut to FADC to Ultra C: Tigah Knee! You and Squall2002 have some pretty frustrating Sagats for me to face. I have to basically try to guess and figure you out or I'm done for. Wediaform24:Good games. I hate that your battery died, but we had a good marathon of matches. Shoryutofu: Sorry about that. I haven't rejected it, it's still in my requests haha. ivwshane: Well, for a Blanka matchup, please understand that I have to play careful to your Blanka. I hate playing slow and careful as much as anyone, I love to press and be on the attack, but with Blankas, I don't have much of a choice. If I punch wrong, I eat a Blanka Ball or an Ultra. If I overhead the wrong time, I eat a ball or an ultra or a slide. Heck, I can even eat your electricity if I make a mistake. In fact, what keeps me away most of the time is your Blanka's slide. It's so instantaneous that it requires luck for me to block it without thinking. Your slide lets you get in and Balrog does not work well when an oppenent is close, for me at least. Also, Blanka is made to be an annoying character and it can be difficult to fight him at times with his hop going everywhere and his mixups. It's not that I have a lame playstyle, or at least I try not to have one, but I just play carefully sometimes depending on the character. Still, enjoy playing your Blanka when I can and we do have back and forth battles. Think of me playing you carefully as a way of respecting your character, which I do, because I can't always just be 100% on the attack and you can punish me on my mistakes, because you have done it before many times.
Good to see you joined I played you a while ago, you beat my yun 7-1 IIRC. You're the only good balrog player I've ever seen, nice to see some really skilled players that arent using the more common characters like ryu, sagat, guile etc. We have to play again, I have no idea what to do in that match, apparenly it's bad for cammy but i don't really know how, the only balrogs that ive played just walk back and dash punch the whole time. Edit: You should play a guy called POLICE VIETNAM if you haven't already, probably the best player here on TA, even if he is a bit of a douche.
He lives!! I don't hate the player I hate the game! Your strategy against blanla is perfect and I just haven't figured out a way to compete against it (it doesn't help that blanka vs Balrog is the worst match up for blanka to start with). When I play anyone else I feel like I have a chance and I can figure out what I need to work on to win, when I play you I feel totally hopeless and like such a noob and it sucks Anyways I'm glad you finally decided to join, at least now we have someone that can give us fed back and a way to easily communicate with you to get in some friendly matches. Quick question for you though, its there anyone you can't beat (what's their gc name)?

Your cast pick doesn't help. Balrog is generally considered to be Blanka's tougher MUs. I tend to agree. Oooh Tenonez, got time for some matches?
Haha I had a pretty good night of drunken scrub stomping, I don't think I lost a single match lol! Maybe we should play sometime when we're both drunk and then analyze the replays after. THAT'd be interesting lol! I hate to admit it, but its fun to get drunk and just beat the crap out of a bunch of Ken/Akuma/Yun scrubs. Welcome to TA Tenonez! Any tips for someone learning to play Balrog? I usually play Dhalsim or Guile but Balrog can be a ton of fun to play. But he's just so differ from other characters I'm used to so I'm having trouble really figuring him out.
