His damage is pretty good in volt. Theyre probably referring to super/ae where his damage isnt that great. The thing is though, bison does so much chip with knee press and headstomp.

BTW jibba, want to have some games, i have no idea what to do in the fei-sim match. I just sent you an invite but im guessing you didnt get it...

The training room is there to sharpen the skills you've already learn through repetition or to set up a mock situation in a match up that you want to be able to respond accordingly to.

Improving your Street Fighter skills also has to do with what your mentality during the match is and not just your physical reflex to the combos.
Knowing how and when to respond is just as important as being able to respond accurately and precisely.

Most people quit after being beaten by someone that's a lot better then they are, but IMO the only way to get better is to play better players.

I got better by getting my ass handed to me by better players and I kept going until I find a solution to a situation that beats me.

Police Vietnam decimated my Gief in the tournament. I had no solution to his Guile strategy. I was completely helpless.
The next day he was nice enough to invite me to a few more friendly matches where he continued to treat my Gief like a little school girl. I'm grateful though, because of that, I've developed some new Guile counter strategies and came out the victor in our last friendly match.
Hopefully, it wasn't just luck. :)

  6. I don't think anyone tries to raw flame kick after a chicken wing in console , its normally a link into normal xx special .

So, I just eliminated DoctaMario from the tournament by playing the LAMEST Sagat ever. Like, so lame, I feel really guilty about it. Both matches were 3-2, the 2nd one I had to come back from down 2-0. I have never thrown so many tiger shots in my life. I need to shower.

I know I played him and am 95% sure I beat him.

As for some matches, I was at work and missed your invite. Just got home and may be down in a few if you're still around. Have to see if the wife has plans for me though. Haha.

Isn't it great when you finally beat one of those players that keeps beating you and running before you could get your revenge? I lost a handful of matches this weekend against a 2600 BP Cammy named AppRunner. He was good but I kept thinking that I could or should have won. He beat my Dhalsim 4 times or so this weekend over 3 ranked pairings. I think he gave me a rematch the first time but not the rest. No biggie really. But I just found him again, lost the first round and then took the last two. He didn't request a rematch and I had only planned to log in for one match anyways. Felt good.

Haha, like I said, it's all good. You do what you gotta do to win. I don't take this game all that seriously anyway so I don't get too bent out of shape about stuff like that.

Now if we were playing 3rd Strike or Guilty Gear..... Lol! :D

Ggs jibba, my internets playing up, but lets have some more fei-sim another time. But man, that match is so free for dhalsim, fei cant do anything about jump back punch. I really feel like dhalsim is top tier, he just shuts down so many characters. Sorry about picking cammy at the end there, i was pretty frustrated. My cammys pretty bad nowdays anyway...

Good games. Those first two matches were great. You had a good Fei. Stick with the aggression. It was uncomfortable every time you knocked me down. There's a reason why the match you won was so lopsided. You made me make bad decisions and punished well with good combos. And I enjoyed the Cammy match. I at least felt I made some better decisions than in some prior Cammy matchups and made it pretty close, even if you were rusty.

Yeah the first match i won was intense. I just guessed right every time on your wakeup. I need to go to the training room and see how to deal with teleports, i didnt really know what to do. Still, I think its feis hardest match, i only won 2/6 (Edit:looked at the replays, was 2/7)

So a question to everyone, who are feis bad matchups? Id say dhalsim, blanka, akuma, sagat, bison, zangief. I used to think abel was bad too, but chicken wings wreck him.

Edit: Mago says he doesnt like fei-balrog, but ive got no experience with that match.

    The low tier.
I don't think blanka is bad at all for fei - blanka gets punished really easily by fei and fei is hard to crossup.

Gief is def bad. I don't think Dhalsim should be that hard, fei's skill set makes life very tough for sim. I suck at that matchup with fei, but I feel like its my fault, not the characters. Bison is a really hard match for fei because he moves so well in the air. Tough for fei to lock him down.

The characters he struggles with the most are the ones with great normals that stuff his chicken wing and characters that can easily negate his focus attack.

sorry about my internet, keeps disconnecting randomly, same thing happened when i played jibba. i loled when you did uppercut fadc-kick with ryu, hes not sagat :p and i swear i got balrogX3 randomly haha. ill invite you again, but it might cut out....

And i disagree on fei beating blanka. Almost every character can punish balls, and it just seems tough to do anything against him with fei. I did beat ivwshane today, but it was really close...And how is fei hard to crossup? His flame kick has ass priority, so safe crossups work well from my experience.
