Was the the match that you were jumping like crazy with Bison? We played so long that it all became a big blur by end but I don't remember thinking that you got lucky at any point. I probably should not have branched out to characters I haven't used in awhile like Fei, Blanka and Chun Li because those were a little ugly. But they were a lot of fun and I'm glad I ran into you. Good games!

Palms work but lunges are even better. Fast moves with good range like his lunge and Cammy's spiral are good to punish teleports away.

Yeah, I'd be interested to see this good Cody I hear about.

Jibba what makes Bison a hard match against Dhalsim? Also what tips would you give a Bison player in this match-up?

Hahaha I think I just played that guy! It's "Marcus.hckim," right? His BP was 2151 so right around what you said, and his message is "Hey! Do not go!!"

I don't think he knows that Akuma has melee attacks. Just run + fireball. Blanka slide beats in-air fireball tactics pretty hard, though. For the record, he quit immediately after the first game. I couldn't resist a little gamecenter taunt - his thing says "Do not walk away from that defeat," so I sent it back to him :D

Hey null, any tips on fei-blanka (from feis point of view). I know fei can punish regular balls, but besides that this seems really bad for him. To be honest though i cant think of a character that cant punish blanka balls, sakura or cody might not be able to, dunno.

Rather than focusing on the all-out-offensive style, Fei can win this one with a little patience. At the right distance, You get free chip from a single Rekka. Use it. You can punish elec / all balls / etc.

Make SURE you wait a half second to punish Blanka ball so you don't hit blanka out of the air, but rather hit him on the ground. This is where most Fei's screw up - they are so eager for the punish that they mash SP, getting the first hit on me out of the air - but I get up right as they are in recovery frames from the last rekka and get a free low kick X 3 + blanka ball combo, putting me AHEAD. I actually use Blanka balls I know will be blocked on the "scrubbier" Fei's because I know they will take the bait and the trade comes out well in my favor. So yeah - wait an extra half second and get the full combo :D

As far as that, it's pretty much the anti-cammy strat: if I play keep away, you can stay in your corner and use command-grab spamming to build meter from a safe distance. If I jump in, flame kick. If I play a ground game, punish slide with Rekkas. If you see me walking forward, but still out of jump range, use focus. Fei's focus is obscenely awesome, and if i'm walking forward at that range it's usually to go for a slide to gain "safe" ground. Focus mucks that up quite quickly (although you can punish poorly-timed slides with rekkas as well).

fei has a strange in-air hitbox so you can do some interesting empty jumps over a recovering blanka and avoid most EX upball shenanigans.

Really though, the Fei's that frighten me use Focus at 3/4 screen range, single rekka chip and 1/3 range, and simply flame kick my cross ups.

The biggest tip is not to get too bloodthirsty. Almost all my wins come from jumping backwards into either a slide (fei is chasing me recklessly) or a surprise forward jump + in air heavy punch + combo

Thanks. Trying to get a second character going, and feis pretty cool i guess. Sagat and chun li are also fun, but i dunno. Im in a slump with cammy, have been playing really bad last week or so. I like playing rushdown characters, but i dont like the feel of viper or akuma, yun is ass,and cammys better than abel so.... *sigh* ibuki/rufus where are you :(

Fei is underplayed. I've been practicing with him as well as my alt. He's got an amazing ground game and the best punishes of all the cast. The fact that you can hit confirm his punishes is mind-blowing. You can actually combo the first rekka into a crouching light punch so you don't commit to overextending yourself and then continue into another full rekka if you hit confirm.

    It's beastly.

There's also the chicken wing cross-up properties against crouching opponents, perhaps the best focus attack of the cast, an uppercut (one of the weaker ones as far as invincibility goes, but I'll take what I can get).

TBH, I almost never use his command grab, but it might have some applications. If someone is turtling me, I'm generally content to do safe chip, a sweep, or use his overhead rather than go for a grab. If anything I think the command grab just gets in my way, but w/e. It's a good way to build meter from far range against Blanka, I guess.

Fei is definitely a force to be reckoned with.

    The low tier.
I really don't think this is true. If it were, Fei Long would clearly have an infinite combo.
