Thanks for the tips. It's been a couple of days but I think I went for a Super and hit Ultra by accident. Otherwise I generally only use it to punish if I'm desperate too. I feel like I used to have the perfect patience and timing for those mirrors but I have to work on my discipline to time my teleports better. I think I try to surprise opponents too often with an early teleport since I assume everyone has the same strategy (wait, wait and wait some more before an air teleport). Anyway, we'll have to do it again sometime.

Voloster - In your guide it says that you can cancel a cr. p into ex tenshin. Is this correct? I cant seem to do this in the training mode, even in the corner.

Welcome to the forums. I don't recall playing you but I'm sure we've crossed paths on occasion. As for Vega, what kind of spam are you having trouble with? Flying Barcelona? It's a pain but once you catch an opponent once or twice they typically give up. Itru to stay moving as a defense. As for counters, I use a combination of Flash Kicks and standing punches. They have to be timed just right though.
Yeah, but for some reason..... I don't. I get thrown, even with right timing. (I have found, that tho, If You do a forwward dash at the right time, you will go out of his range. I'm sure this works with other characters (i'm talking about guile), also). Also, I Once Played This Amazing Honda. I'm Waaaaay too lazy to go look through all of my gamer cards/player cards, but (at first i thought he was going to be another noob honda, but i was wronged.) I would LIke to play him again.

I main Dhalsim and second Guile, but I don't play Guile that much these days because I've been fooling around with a few other characters for fun. I find that spamming Vegas (and most Vegas really) are easy to handle with Dhalsim since I'm able to instant jump teleport out of his path and put me in a position for an easy punish. I know I've had trouble with Guile against spamming Vegas in the past and have tried dashing out of the way, as you mentioned, simply blocking and sonic booming, as well as Flash Kick and standing punch. I'd try hitting the Training Room and set the CPU to do nothing but Flying Barcelonas to get some real practice in. I'd also find a character that you like to play that can handle that attack easily (I imagine shotos like Ken and Sagat would work, as well as Fei, Honda, etc.). As for Hondas, we don't really have anyone here that plays him regularly. I like playing with him against some of Dhalsim's bad matchups but I'm not very good with him.
Oh, I love the guile, vs honda matchup. So free once youknowhow to playit. <3 And DHalsim? eeeeeeh.... I hope you're not a person who just jumps away HP HP and thne teleport more HP and HP. :/ Buit I hope we can Play Some games soon. (Also, my bp is kinda low now, becuase on one unfortnate day... I use a lot of variety in my game so I don't think I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be considered a spammer. But teleport is a big part of any Dhalsim's game. I generally base my strategy on how my opponent plays. In friendlies though, I'm just there to have fun (but everyone wants to win). Accepted the invite. I'll be around later tonight if you're up for some matches. Oh, and I hate Akuma. I do pretty well against Akumas but I just hate his ultras and supers.
Only works if they block the cr p. You have to do the half circle motion really quickly too. Best tick throw setup in the game without a doubt.
Yes, but you'll either *i mean you'll probably mis time it because of the lag, And You Won't Always have the meter to do it. Also, I don't think, my GameCenter INvites are working... I'm wondering... is this a problem, foranyone elselolz?.....
Quick questions. How do you get up right away after getting knocked down (i.e. without the usual 1 second wait)? Is there a guide floating around on this forum? I would like to take a look. Thanks, Pete
