GG yyhakusho, I think we are like 6-7 with your viper and my sagat. the rest doesn't count, you were using some randmon chars. I just need to play you more with your viper. I lose to another viper earily today, it's humilating, he beat me like 16-4, lol, I don't know what happen.

Well upsets the wrong word. Just bored sometimes. No disrespect to good shoto players, its just that whenever someone new picks up the game it seems like they go right to ken or ryu. BTW theres a really good bison player who plays pretty lame. His names kim1234 if you wanna watch some vids of him, hes really good.
Yea getting put in the corner happens all the time, and those safe chicken wings and rekkas are really annoying. Corner pressure from good feis is such a bitch to deal with. But from their point of view, fei has some of the best jumping attacks in ae (jumping hard kick has more range than cammys jumping hard kick, jumping medium punch is a really ambigous crossup when spaced properly and it has a good hitbox, and nuetral jump hard kick has great range and hits both sides like chuns), but in volt his jumpins are ass. I really dont think feis that good in volt, maybe just above average.
Ok i am never playing cammy again, no joke. She cant do anything against turtles. I dunno who im gonna play or if ill stop playing altogether. Im just sick of losing to people who just sit there, low forward + fireball all day.
SF4 is a VERY defense-oriented game and youre definitely at a disadvantage when you're attacking certain characters. Risk/reward in this game is massively skewed in the wrong direction which is why missing a one frame link will cause you to eat an SRK or worse yet an Ultra on a regular basis. As a more rushdown type of player, this game has caused me to play more cautiously and defensively, which can definitely be good in certain situations. But at the end of the day, I sometimes wonder why I should bother working much on my characters of choice when I could just pick Sagat, spam Tiger shots, mash Ultra, and win a lot easier. Pick yourself up and shake off the dust, champ, you'll break thru it!
But you have to work so much harder when you rushdown. How hard is it to block low, low forward-fireball when they come near and uppercut if they jump. When you rushdown you have to try and bait dps, crossup without eating a dp, guess throws, keep pressure on, etc. Without option selects its too easy to escape pressure. The thing with cammy is, if you just block, whats she gonna do? She has the worst throw range in the game, so if youre even remotley good at teching throws then youll be able to see the throws coming from a mile away. She doesnt have an overhead, so the only time you should block high is when she jumps. And shes got no chip damage game. All of her specials are either extremely unsafe or extremely slow to start up. I might change characters or I might just stop playing altogether, its just getting too frustrating.
Well, I guess meant overall but ur right about lacking l and h p&k etc... I think Yun was top tier at a time in ssf 3:3rd s..... And unfortunately I don't know Yuns attcks by name.... I know the shotos but that's about it... I guess it's some combination of f-p,f-k,df-p, db-p, df-k, fdf-p,f to b-k. Ex versions and df,df-s(p). Id probly know if I saw it... I know his db-p is a good combo starter and fdf-p is good for getting through projectiles and juggling. When u can put it all together it looks really good. I can't even consciencely do it, it just happens while I'm inputting random comands. I try but I'm just not that good.... Just wondering is there any kind of tier list for vault? And are there any good videos of Yun on tube?
My point exactly, which is one of the gripes I have with the game. If you're attacking, you should be the one on the advantage, but more often than not in SF4 the opposite is true. So there's little advantage to rushing down, executing combos that are more than 3 or 4 hits (because of damage scaling and the fact that the game is so link heavy and the chance of dropping the combo is greater if you haven't spent hours mindlessly working on the rhythm of a jab-jab-Special combo) other than personal satisfaction. You could fit what I know about Cammy in a thimble , but it seems like every time I lose to her, it's because I try to outdraw her moves. She really seems to have little startup to most of her moves and she moves quickly so I almost see her as more of a hit and run, poking type of character. I don't know if you play more of a rushdown game or not, but she doesn't seem as well suited to that as, say, Akuma. Maybe consider working some more Focus Attack in as well?
I made a tier list. The latest one is on page 570. Its kind of outdated now though, but i dont have my computer on me so I cant update it. Anyone please feel free to take mine as a template and edit it how you see fit. And there are zillions of good vids of yun. Hes for sure the best character in the console version, but hes lacking in volt. Search momochi yun, daigo yun, kazunoko yun, kindevu yun, ryan hart yun, xian yun and youll see some great footage. Crosscounter also made a yun tutorial which is pretty helpful.
