Skyrim. The scope is immense, the options bewildering. I've tried a handful of iOS 3D rpgs, nothing quite like it yet. But I suppose this is also a $60 game vs $5~$10 iOS game.

Playing a Dunmer (Dark Elf) dual-wielding mage (hadoouuken!), with no allegiances to the imperials or stormcloaks at the moment. Just interested in accumulating devastating power at the moment ..

It's like Fallout 3 and Morrowind all over again -- taking everything that's not nailed down, and selling it. Muahaha.

    Friendly matches are up again.

First match, it's against squall2002 using his beast Sagat; end up losing 0-3.

Then I try friendlies again, it's Vaceotyn. Y U NO USE YOUR VIPER? It was fun though, thank you for the varied matchups to level up my secondary character.

Someone said that its wrong that i rq laggy games where the oppenent got unfair advantage due to that:/ sorry for that but try understanding, its hard when you get the advantage i guess. Im playing mc3 till they fix all lag.

You have to send it through a friend request or game invite, although I don't know if it makes sense to send a message to someone that you just rage quit against.

I rq cause i played Dhalsim and it lagged alot. Cammy got all the hits on me the first round so i rqed not cause im whining, i rq cause i want to fight fair. Whats the point standing on the edge taking all hits while i could tele and stretch arms etc like a real match? :/

Maybe i should have let her win but i hot pissed, i blame natural reactions:/

And didnt she lag too? Tellimgme that im mad when she got unfair advantage? Thats not nice. Noone should have won the game. Guess i did the right choice. I rq the second match vause the lag was still there and i didnt want to be a hit doll.

Squall2002 no exageration that guy is single-handedly responsible for around 30% of my total losses. The bastard.

I've probably played more matches against him than any other player (something like 250-300 matches), I always use Bison or Viper against him, obviously my Bison is not even half as good as yours, but he knows that Bison match up inside out. His Sagat is indeed a beast. The bastard.

I don't know man. All I know is that I play Dhalsim and lag is the kiss of death to Dhalsim (teleport attacks are worthless if an opponent has 6 seconds to see it coming). But that said, I won't rage quit in a ranked match. If it's a friendly and the lag is unbearable, I'll quit before it gets deep into the match.

Ever since I stopped caring about my Losses being around 50 matches higher than my wins, and started playing Yun, I'm enjoying online so much more. It's funny, because I used to be afraid of wrecking my W/L ratio and BP, but now it's a lot better.

Some Yun ideas I came up with:

    Opponent Blocking Scenarios:
Dive Kick, Close Standing Medium Kick, Jump Cancel, Dive Kick, Zenpou Tenshin, Crouching Medium Punch, Nishokyaku. - It's a fun thing to do to confuse the opponents a bit, and with the Dive Kick's awesome recovery, landing the Flip Grab is easy. A throw can be used too. You can also do a Tetsuzanko instead of Nishokyaku so that you can cancel into Genei Jin. -

Dive Kick (Optional), Target Combo 1, EX Zesshou, Throw/Zenpou Tenshin, Crouching Medium Punch, Nishokyaku. - A standard one that works amazingly well. -

    Opponent Not Blocking Scenarios:
Zenpou Tenshin, Close Standing Medium Kick, EX Nishokyaku, You Hou. - You have to be the one backed into the corner, with your opponent close, otherwise, EX Nishokyaku won't hit. You can also do another EX Nishokyaku instead of You Hou, but you need good timing to hit both kicks of the second one. -

And I just had my second dream about Dudley being added to Volt. ._. It's sort of odd, really.

Ah yes, Squall2002's Sagat is a tough match for me too.
I run into him from time to time.

Good games man. I hadn't played much in the past few days and just didn't feel like playing Viper.

And squall2002, best Sagat in Volt. Sooooo annoying.

I've been playing around with this for a bit. Are the matchups, ranges, etc. of the game similar to the actual console game? Because if it is, then I might be able to get a stronger understanding of SF if I ever play on the console in the future ;)

I forgot to mention that in that last Abel fight, after you did the standing punches -> Super, I was ready to just sit there and wait for your super to finish but you ended up missing it and for like 1-2 seconds I was just standing there not doing anything. Usually when I know I'm getting hit with a Super/Ultra, I take my thumbs off the screen and watch the show

Matchups are definitely different due to the fact that a lot of normal moves are left out of the game. Range should be about right. There's some blockstring combos on Volt that actually aren't in the console version. Snooper can cover more on this topic than anyone else I believe.

Yeah, I still have no idea what happened there. I thought the standing punches landed clean and I was in range to land the Super, but it just whiffed. Next time, I'll see how Viper does against your Sagat.

}{t}{ just messaged me and said that he has 15 people interested for a team based tournament consisting of 5 members for each team. I'm sure Police can have 5 people ready for Team Vietnam.

So that means that if we can have 20 people here on TA, we can have a full 8 team tournament. I'll have a form ready so people can start signing up for it.

In case we don't get a total of 40 people, the team size might have to be shrunk to 4 members. We'll see how many people sign up though.

Thanks for the tips! Yeah I throw out the Boom so they'll have something to contend with on wakeup, but it's gotten me killed a few times. It's gotten to be a habit haha! Ive been trying to work more Focus Attacks into my game too.

Sounds like you may be going through a slump with 'sim. When that happens to me I usually just play another character for awhile. Sometimes I get too set in how I play and I end up screwing myself. But you'll get it back, I have confidence in that! :)

I was playing Ranked yesterday and got -40C(F) and squall2002 in a row. >_< Played a few against squall though and almost won a few rounds.

I'm thinking about ending the round robin tourney. Interest seems to have waned a bit, but maybe we'll do one more round before.

Still, I'm down for the team tourney.

Dr. Macky, I had 25% battery, so I don't think we would be able to complete one more match before the msg popped up and I would get disconnected.
