Just lost to police vietnam in the tournament, he's got a really good guile. Super aggressive. Wasn't ready for him the first game, got beat 2-0. Lost the second game 2-1 - lost the first round because I went to chip him out with EX tigershot on his wakeup and a freaking EX tiger knee came out. Also dropped an ultra combo. Ugh, not my best performance.
What do you guys think of having a team based tournament? If enough people want it, then we can have it set up that way for the next one. }{t}{ suggested it and says he has a team ready. ^that sounds like a pretty good idea but how would we arrange the teams?
I played him a long time ago and he played super lame. I guess you cant beat sagat in a fireball war though... And I thought your fei was better rhan your sagat for sure
GGs as always DROQQA, and i take back my comment from before, your sagat is definitley better than your fei. Man the honda sagat match is so bad. Good work not throwing low tiger shots, most sagats i play against with honda in friendly dont know headbutt goes through them
I still have no idea how the team based tournament would be like. Maybe we can split the teams by region? I haven't really thought about it. We can have }{t}{ have his team. As for the rest, we could have some anchors, have people sign up and we'll do a draft to pick people unless }{t}{'s team is SUPER beast and we need to make an all star team haha.

yeah your sagat is really solid. the sagat mirror was so intense also the chun sagat match was good. Im trying to get back into abel, but getting rushed down when playing him is such a pain.
Yea I have no idea who }{t}{'s teammates are. He just PM'd me wondering if we'll ever be holding a team tournament and if we are, then he already has a team ready.

How about we start it in a week or two, and have it running at the same time as the double elimination. It wouldnt go for too long if we only had like 4-6 teams. Thats assuming we even do it

It's all good. Sagat is such an uphill battle with Guile. I was hoping to get a taste of your Cammy (that just sounds wrong lol!) Next time. Is there a 12 hour difference between Aus and the US? Btw, good games earlier Jibba! I forgot how beast your Guile is! I also have a suggestion for your Dhalsim. When you do the jumping punch/standing punch combo, maybe do a crouching punch instead of the standing one. It makes it a lot harder to block the lower attack if youve blocked the high attack and can be a good mixup if you switch between the standing and crouching punches for the second attack.
playing a grappler myself I rather face giefs over fireballs. They hit hard and can KO Mak in 3 grabs but its better than playing dodge ball the whole match.
Not me. Cammy has decent anti-fireball options and good walkspeed, but without her standing roundhouse gief is a horribly, horribly bad match.
My best anti-fireball option next to jump is faceblock standing roundhouse is also a go to for me when facing Zangief. Perhaps I just played to many Akumas (does he ever have fists?) but trying to weave in and out of fireball traffic even on a win gets old fast.
