It has SF4 layouts, not SSF4 layouts, and also has these picture cards that you obtained from doing Bluetooth battles. And the Dojo mode. The Dojo mode would teach you all of the basics, and specific things for characters and how to beat other characters, etc. However, it lacks the special effects that Volt has for Ultras, lacks some moves like Sim's stretching standing kick, C. Viper's Thunder Knuckle that has her move across the ground instead of up... it also doesn't have Online play, as many characters as Volt, or the Wandering Warrior mode (which is pretty much just avatar battles that don't really matter unless you want to get all of the titles, avatars, etc.). It does have 100 achievements in comparison to Volts 40, but Volts achievements are balanced out a bit better. And I'm not sure if I'm right or not, but SF4's graphics seem a little jagged in comparison to Volts. And SF4 has the DLC's, which are unlocked without having to pay for them if you have Volt on your device as well. All in all, Volt is far superior and you should take advantage of this price drop.
I didn't know they had a price drop... I thought it happened like 2 days ago b/c there was so much more ragequitters. Now's the time to play to increase your W/L (if it matters to you) since there'll be plenty of scrubs floating around.
So thats what it is. Today has just been keepaway akumas, dragon punch everything kens and clueless yuns. I literally did nothing but low tiger shot and perfected a yun who kept trying to palm and got counter hit. Then i got the standard 'fireball spammer' gc request. This price drop could be a turn for the worse, I actually didnt enjoy playing online today, despite losing 1 out of maybe 30 matches...
Now that you mentioned it, there are a lot more newbie players then usual. Well, its all the same to me. Newbies allow me to have a little more fun and test things out. I don't have to get all worked up so its a bit more relaxing when playing them.
@DROQQA Heres a good fei-abel match. He uses stand jab really well just to piss abel off as he doesnt have an answer to it, but fei doesnt have stand jab in volt It shouldnt be too hard to out poke abel with low fierce and safe rekkas though. He doesnt really have an answer to them without his far light kick. Chicken wing is also really good against him. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
And heres a really good match between latif and alioune. Alioune is the reason I want yang so bad Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel
Controls... Hi, Just upgraded my iPhone to iOS 5 from 4.3.3 and is it just me but is there something wrong with the controls now in Ranked/Friendly online mode? The game sometimes doesn't register my jump kicks or any jump-dfk-sweep, so now I look like a boofhead jumping straight into a player. This doesn't happen in other modes in the games. Also who knows what else is not registering but those are the ones that I could see immediately. Threw me off my game, cause now I am too scared to jump. I thought my iOS upgrade had problems so I reflash the whole thing. I never had this issue in 4.3.3. and I don't have this issue on my iPad (still on 4.3.3) but using an iPad to play is bloody hard hahahaha the hands don't fit the controls.
sorry i cant really help because still on ios 4.something. try reinstalling the game? or maybe it was just laggy
Can we squeeze out 7 more players for the upcoming tournament? Then it would be an even 32! (The way we wanted it to be begin with)
Lol been watchin lots of videos today, heres another good one. I dont know this dhalsim, im guessing hes french, but dieminion is such a sick guile. think he plays honda too. Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Edit: lol embeded the wrong one
game is awesome, but only one problem why is it so laggy when I play wifi mode? my broadband has 10MB connection speed, but still lag as hell, I cannot even perform a SA->Dash cancel on wifi connection mode, then what's the fun part left? could anyone please be so kind to tell me how to fix this? change server or wifi dns maybe?
