So I found out that yun can do commad grab-ultra anywhere on the screen without meter. Simply command grab-back+kick-ultra. After that you can do a regular lunge punch follow up, instead of having to waste 1 meter for ex shoulder. If he could do this in AE....he would be sooooooo broken. And @ that video you posted Shoryu, the thing is giefs standing medium punch beats cammys best poke, standing medium kick. Plus if youre in cr medium kick range you're in spd range. And someone posted a few pages back that gief cant punish cammys uppercut. Thats not true, he can just spd. This match isnt horrible for cammy in console versions, because she has far medium punch and far hard kick, both really good pokes. Its probably 5.5-4.5 in giefs favour. In volt though, you have to hope they jump in and dont know how to deal with hooligans, otherwise theres nothing she can do. Edit: Oh and when youre about to run out of genei jin i found ths setup works really well. When you have about 1/4 of the genei jin left do f+kick, b+kick jump cancel-dive kick. That will force them to stand and they usually wont be expecting a command grab. I did this a few times last night online. The best one was when it was 1-1 against a gief player, he had about half life and i had about a quarter, because he hit me with an ultra. He was just backing up into the corner so I jumped-hard punch-low medium punch-shoulder-genei jin-f+k/palm loop-divekick reset-command grab-back + kick-ultra for the win. And at that I stopped playing yun. He's just too weak in volt.
You cant do that on reaction, its too slow. You have to guess, and if they dont fireball theyll see it coming cos it takes like 1 1/2 seconds to start up so youll eat an uppercut.
I've done it on reaction to Ken fireballs at 2-3char range. I'm not recommending it against Sonic booms though

I played him just now. He beat me twice with Chun Li then proceeded to spam using Akuma which I beat. Then he messaged me on Game Center saying that Akuma spam was fun and called me a noob haha. His name is Alex Pang on Game Center. I really hate people who message me abusive messages after a game in Game Center. Some people who play this game are just whack jobs.

Man I've been messing around with Gen in Arcade Edition the past couple days and it makes me wish they would bring him to Volt. I think if they did him similar to Vega he would be doable. The only thing I think that would be tough would be mapping his stance changes, but I think a SP stance change would work though similar to how they mapped Akumas teleports. Oh how it would be awesome to slaughter people with that old ass assassin.
I love Gen. He has so much finesse, style, and strategy. I would also like to see a volt version of him.
