Why does nobody fadc unsafe moves? I was just playing a really good ken, cane down to the wire. He did a random uppercut which wouldve killed me if it hit, i blocked, punished with ultra and won. He had full meter ffs, he probably couldve chipped me out with uppercut fadc uppercut, or gone for uppercut fadc throw (lol i abuse that so hard). ex moves arent really used that often either, seems like 90% of the people i play use their meter purely for super...

Speaking of bad meter usage, i finally played dr mackay. Nearly perfected him the first round, second round i got a huge life lead and then went to the opposite side of the screen :p he threw fireball after fireball and i just focused them. then he threw four ex fireballs in a row. i nuetral jumped them all and he quit lol

I think I might be done playing this game. I lost all of my BP from a combination of a small losing streak, then thinking it was a good idea to play while drinking.

I've had zero BP for about three days nows. I've won almost every match I've played and almost every single person quit on me. The game won't match me with anybody with BP over 500, except on rare occasions, and those guys quit constantly. Seriously, almost every opponent quit on me for the last three days

I'm not that concerned about BP, but the people with that kind of score suck. They spam SP, run away constantly (especially the Akumas!!!), don't put up a good fight, and quit every match. The game now sucks and I don't see an end to it.

Before this happened, my record was around 60/15. (not many matches because my profile was erased and I started over)

I don't understand how people are getting away with ragequitting and not getting a loss. I thought they patched it to that these people would be punished?

    How are they doing this?

Is there a difference when the game disconnects right away and when it freezes for like 20 seconds and then disconnects? Which one is the one where they found a way around getting a loss?

I've only ragequit once out of frustration. I have no idea how to beat Sagat with Fei. They guy sent me a well deserved hate msg.

Theres talk about a loophole for people who are jailbroken. Also if you get a game invite and you accept during a match, you dont lose bp, not sure of its the same with other notifications. Plus if they ragequit and you look at their record, it will show you their record when you played them, so you wont see that they lost bp.

And i was under the impression sagat wasnt too hard for fei. Dont feel too bad about ragequitting though, weve all done it once or twice :p

    Plan B:
I deleted it, along with the GC data, and I'm going to try starting over again. Last time my data reset I actually had a lot of fun playing this. I'm going to try it again. If I get a flood of rage quitters and no good matches, then I'm done for good.

Yeah picked him up yesterday. Was gonna go with ryu but ken suits my rushdown/mixup style better. And you with akuma :O I remember thinking 'how bout akuma' when you mentioned that you wanted seth. I HATE his teleport for getting out of wakeup mixups. Luckily cammy can easily punish it but ken cant without ultra 2 :(

LOL, he quits (?!?) even without losing? ROTFLMFAO... :D

I was playing friendly yesterday and got matched up with him again for a number of times. I disconnected every time I see his name. Stupid match making system, but I am definitely happy that I annoyed the sh*t out of him and I don't actually waste time playing with him to see him quit when he loses. :)

Man, so annoyed. iTunes inexplicably removed it from my itouch so gotta start again. I had arcade mode beaten on every difficulty with every character, 1100 BP and a 85% win percentage with my wandering warrior :/

On another note, any advice on dealing with Sagat and Blanka spammers? I'm a Ryu (also Ken and Sakura) player and I can handle most of the spammers, but not those 2.

You cant really throw too many fireballs against blanka unless youre fullscreeb cos he'll just slide. If he loves to do blanka balls just mash on low jab. Also i think you can punish blocked balls with ryus ultra, not too sure though. With sagat, again you cant just mindlessly throw fireballs cos his are way better. You have to try and get in close but dont just jump in stupidly or focus, sagat can easliy counter that. Blanka isnt such a bad match for ryu, just play lame and mash on jab lol. Sagat is really hard though, youll have to work harder for the win. Try throwing ex fireballs too if they just keep tiger shotting, then hurricane kick to close the distance when hes on the ground.

A patient Ryu wipes the floor with Blanka - he's one of my dreaded matchups.

Ryu can safely spam hodouken at full screen (even if Blanka has meter).
Ex ball only travels about 95% of screen.
    hodouken punishes blocked blanka balls.

When Blank is walking forward, it means he has no charge for ball. Prepare for a slide. They can be punished with a sweep at anything except max-slide range (which is a "meaty" slide block that can't be punished).

Blanka's big anti-air, the vertical ball, requires a down charge....making it vulnerable while charging to, you guessed it...air attacks (the very thing it is supposed to counter). Blanka's charging requirements make cross-ups easy and worthwhile. If he uses electricity but you get the kick in, it's a trade...if he doesn't, there's a high probability you'll get the cross up.

Blanka is deadly with his bnb jump in to low kick sequence to blanka ball. Be ready with a SRK when he gets in jump in range (his arc is almost nonexistent) and he won't be a problem.

Also, if blanka starts walking forward, you can simply start a focus attack. This is an evil strat, but it's nigh untouchable - if he slides, you nail him with the focus. If he stops to charge an armor-breaker, you cancel the focus and dash back. If he jumps, you dash back (you don't focus when he's in jump-in range). Can't really do much.

snooper mentioned using ryu's ultra, i can confirm that ryu's ultra will work on blocked blanka balls.
