Once again, I was just playing against randoms not paying attention until the match started and I see a Viper that's 3500 BP. Not like last time where I wasn't really sure if it was you or not until the second match, this time I KNEW it was you Vaceotyn haha. I saved 5 matches of our Viper/Bison matchup. Forgot which one but there's a second round that I wasn't able to do anything. I'll upload the better ones sometime. You Viper got way better compared to the last time we played. And that Honda backstep -> Ultra for the win hahaha. I think what DoRong2's Viper did a lot of cr. kick -> burning kick back to back to back. The 2nd or 3rd time would always catch me. Then there was a lot of mixups from the cr. kick -> burning kick to some other things that I don't really remember quite well.
yun vs zangief= not fun for yun. gief and sagat are yuns worst matchups imo, but honda can also be really annoying. if you want to counter pick gief, then akuma, dhalsim and sagat are his worst matchups. i think nullroar said dee jay can be difficult for gief too if you dont wanna play top tier chracters
the game matches you up with people close to your level, so just get more points or choose more skilled at the online options
Definitely true; i can't play a match against other people that use zangief or sagat without losing. He requires a LOT of skill just to use. He also doesn't have the best reversals in the game. Dragon Kicks trade too much. Good for air pressure though.
yea and you cant fadc the upkicks which really sucks. and he does less damage than almost every character, i wrote about that a few pages back. theres also heaps of other problems i hve with him, like no light lunge, 1 type of divekick, no meaty palm (cos theres no meaty attacks in volt ), no st strong which means no strong, fierce, back fierce target combo, no cross up, hard links with lag, low stamina, ill just stop there, ive done this rant already. definitley not a scrubby character like his console version.
Just randomly matched up with Dorong2 and then I realized I've played him before. We played 10 matches. It wasnt too laggy so it was pretty fun. I think he used Honda 4x, Ryu 2x, Sagat 2x, and Akuma 2x. His Ryu was the hardest for me and seems to be his main. No Viper though. Outcome is 7-3 my win.
The funny thing is hes the guy behind the Volt page on fb. Ive never actually played him, but i dont really want to given his questionable reputation...
That explains everything...I watched those one handed terror vids you were talking about, that led me to spending ages watching tons of videos on youtube (who knew there was so much to this game), a bunch of these vids were talking about meaty attacks, and I've been trying to do them ever since and have not been able to do so effectively. I've never played streetfighter on a console, only on Volt so I wasn't sure if I was doing it right, if my timing was off or something, but this now explains it.
Yea its kind of a bummer because theres no way to beat dps besides a crossup or air fireball, which sucks for chracters without them. Cammy can do a divekick, but the spacing/timing is very very strict
Those were amazing matches. Your Bison is as insane as they say. Unfortunately my replay files are corrupted and I couldnt save anything. How funny is that. A lot of those battles were very exciting too. So many close calls. Most Zangief don't stand much against me so I cant say much about yours A long time ago I matched up against a Japanese Zangief that showed me what a little girl my Zangief was. 15 matches and I got him once. I never saw him again, but I learned from that beating and its made my Zangief mirror matches pretty easy. I would play more but I need to sleep and be up in 5 hours. We most dance again. GG FFF
Unfortunately there wasn't enough space for me to save any of the matches. Still gotta transfer some over to youtube. I like the fact that we do whatever until we both get down to ~30-40% HP, then we play hella cautious not wanting to make a single mistake. So right after playing you, I got to face off against jiwon0425. What a nice match huh... a back to back against 2 beasts. Ended 3/5 against him. 2-1 against his Ryu and 1-1 against his Guile. Most of them came down to a tiny mistake made by either one of us.
next time fffan...i'm struggle to win from you and my connection...i want ex thunder knuckle but because my connection i got burning kick.......to much mistake and i admit you strong...i have 2wins because i'm lucky and maybe you learn and know how i roll...
