I can't block crossups at all with autoblock on. I don't know why but since I turned it off I havent had any problems with blocking them. *shrug*

 

The point of having auto block on is you let it block for you. My guess is you also try to manual block the cross ups with auto block on and that some how mess up the block?
I have no problem blocking cross ups if I just stand still. Its the follow up low kick that gets me if I'm not fast enough to press down.

 

Yes, and a good experiment you can have is, play against the CPU Dhalsim, when he teleports to above behind you and do a "jump" kick > medium punch into yoga fire combo, test whether you prefer manual or auto block.

For me I realized NOT PRESSING anything while autoblock is on works.

 

That may be. Will autoblock block EVERYTHING or is it just random? My understanding of autoblock was a lot different before I started playing this game. Autoblock has been in every SF game save Third Strike, but in those games it's basically that if you're caught in a blockstring, you can take your finger off the "back" button and you'll still be blocking.

No, there's avatars, more characters, some more moves (C. Vipers Medium Thunder Knuckle, Cammy's Air Throw (not the hooligan combination one), etc.). And different layouts. And challenge mode. And a lot more.
