If he's talking about the guy I think he's talking about, I don't blame him. This guy would set the match to best of 7 rounds and then proceed to do the exact same thing every round which is stay as far away from the opponent as possible while throw endless Yoga Fires. Randomly he'd teleport in for a hit but if you got anywhere near him he'd just teleport away and throw more yoga fires.

As a Guile player, the matchup against Dhalsim can be excruciatingly dull because you really have no way to get in that he can't squirrel away from you. I spent most of the 6 or so rounds we played jumping over fires, which, in hindsight was good practice. But while I agree with you that 100% defense is a strat, we're playing a fighting game. Grow some balls and attack your opponent already!

I'm having a bad day with this game, if you can't tell. I have about 80% less BP now than I did this morning.

My new least favorite opponent: Ryu. A skilled Ryu is so f***ing irritating. It's not because he's cheap or anything like that, but because they play offensively and defensively at the same time. For instance, a VERY common strategy with him is to retreat to the other side of the screen (defense) then creep up and attack you like crazy (offense).

My biggest problem with him is they like to jump OVER your head and start attacking on the way down (Bison does this too, but Ryu lands very shortly after he's off the ground, so it's 10x worse). Then you stop blocking because of the direction change and start eating a big combo. Ever since Volt came out, that's been my biggest annoyance in the entire game. I can deal with it better now (it's one of the few things Akuma's teleport is good for), but it's still irritating.

Again, he's not cheap or unusually difficult, he's just annoying in the right hands.

    I'm done ranting:mad:

    Edit:
I was just a SP block away from a double perfect against a Ken. I now feel better.

If anybody wants a friendly match, send a request. I'm tired of losing BP. I'm NotYou_ver1.0.

    The low tier.
by the way, fffan bodied me 10-0

I think i won round 1 5/10 times fwiw. Could never seal the deal though. His bison is insane - I got desperate and tried to counter pick Honda in the last round, but it made no difference.

I dislike playing against Ryu too (with Sagat). I know the matchup better than any other probably, it's just not fun to play. Lot of fireballs, very defensive. Crouch-baiting jump ins. I usually try to play Fei against him, it's a lot more fun.

Some thoughts about the Bison/Sagat matchup after playing against fffan:

    1. Bison's 3 frame low poke into scissor kicks is just impossible to stop. It's going to happen, and you're going to get chipped. Trying to stop it with SRK is too risky/ineffective.

    2. If you block it, it sets up a situation where you are at a distance you don't want to be at. Bison can cross up so easily. I tried back dashing from this, but fffan caught on and punished me repeatedly with a psycho crusher.

    3. Bison's jump-ins may be floaty, but it's tough to react to them b/c of the headstomp. It can be really tough to differentiate between the two and react in time. Also, Bison has a lot of safe jumps where SRK gets either stuffed or whiffs.

    4. There is a range at which you can stand that forward roundhouse anti-airs, but smart bisons won't head stomp or jump in from that range.

    5. The fact that the devil reverse can cross up, even in the corner, is just so hard to deal with.

    6. If you're lucky to pin bison in a corner, it's so hard to keep pressure on. The EX head stomp will anti air jump overs. Seriously. Psycho crusher is safe from close distances and kills so much of Sagat's pressure game. Bison's standing kick seemingly has priority over everything.

LOL, just had a heart attack when I saw Volt had an update.

Unfortunately it's only to fix some iOS 5 errors... No new Chars.

Shoot. I totally forgot to post this video. Will try tomorrow. I wonder if it was becoming more common.

This sounds interesting. Maybe a fix of some known loopholes? It's definitely nice to see an update even if it doesn't bring new chatacters.

Could it be that they fixed the loophole that people didn't get a loss by turning off their Wi-Fi? I hope so.

I just checked the quality of the vids... there's so many spots that the video skips. It's either because my device barely has any free space or there's too many tweaks running in the background.

I've been losing BP all day (went from 2000 to about 300) and now I'm half drunk and playing. I know that this will likely lead to 0 BP, which is downright embarrassing, but I'm still playing.

    Somebody stop me!

Well I was doing E.Honda and Blanka, then I was doing Sagat, and now I'm doing Ken. Thinking of switching back to Sagat because Ken just working for me as much as he used to.
