Just had a fight against a guy with 4154 BP, I could beat him and then, he disconnects. And he's not that good.
No. AE 2012 is merely a patch to adjust balance within the game, nothing more. Just a free update to the game.
I hope that Street Fighter will hit the LG G2X (My phone). Then, I'd have Street Fighter for everything I own.
I doubt they'd make the Andriod SF like the 3DS version. It's still a phone after all. However, if, for some weird reason, they do make it like the 3DS version, then there is really no reason why they won't port all of that over eventually to the iOS. Should be interesting to see what they do, I guess.
Suddenly I'm getting matched with people with BP between 0 and 4000. The low BP people rage quit (we all know that!) and the really high ones tend to do it too (but somehow get around the loss of points). This is getting annoying. I liked my 1000-2000 range. These are not my people Edit: And SP spam. ZOMG. -_- zzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzz
I would trade you in a heartbeat, I've been stuck in the 1,200-1,500 bp for a awhile and its because the people at this level either rage quit after every match so I get no BP or never want to rematch and then I get matched up with them or someone else afterwards who rage quits. Of course if someone manages to beat me first round they usually ask for a rematch only to quit the minute I land the finishing blow on them in the second match. Honestly my ability to enjoy Volt is going away rather quickly aside from the friendlys I play with you guys here I rarely boot it up anymore. I'm not really ashamed to admit that I'm definitely the type of gamer who likes to have a nice looking Win/Lose record and a solid BP amount but the loopholes regarding quitting make it impossible or just too exhausting to want to make it past the 0-2000 bp mark, I was over 2g briefly and the players there seemed pretty skilled and always re matched and kept playing, but as soon as I fell below again it was all downhill. I would love to be playing high level guys and gals but instead I'm stuck with full screen red fireballs, constant headbutts, and low kick/tiger knees which at the end of the day gets old really fast. I'm certain I'm not the only person here who feels this way.
My experience has been the opposite. Between 1000 and 2000, there are very few rage quitters. Once you dip below 1000, you can win 100 matches in a row and still not break 1000 because almost everybody quits. As a general rule, if their BP is lower than 600, I won't fight them, period. Once I get to people over 2000, they start rage quitting again. Those guys keep their points somehow (jailbreak, I assume), but they're usually no better than the sub 1000 guys. I've also found they like to pick one powerful combo (which uses SP, so you lose health blocking) and use it constantly. It's only a step up from SP spam. When I'm between 1000 and 2000 (which is most of the time) is the only time I get real fights and rematches. Reference:
Personally, I think it'll be a port of Volt with a couple of new characters and maybe an exclusive feature.
I write only to give my approval to this game...bought and tried...same feelings of the cabinet!!! WOW
I've found that if you take Ranked even remotely seriously it sucks away your enjoyment of the game. You end up with a bunch of retards who would rather have a good win/loss record than play a good match and so they quit. Like you and NotYou were saying, you get to certain BP levels and things start to suck. For me, I end up getting to the 1000-1500 level and I either get blown up or quit on and so it stops being fun. What I've done is just find people I enjoy playing against and take THOSE matches more seriously and basically use Ranked as practice for new characters. My expectations when I play it are pretty low so I'm usually not surprised. I really love playing the folks from here and those usually end up being the most exciting matches so I don't take Ranked that seriously anymore. I'd like to have a great looking record on there too but it seems like unless you're god at the game or you ragequit, it probably won't happen. Man, if my Ranked record looked like my Wandering Warrior record....I'd be FEARED! ;^P
Yes, from my point of view the same. And finally at the end of the year we will see Evil Ryu on our devices and maybe another exclusive character
The thing I find with ranked matches is you have to not care about your win/loss or youll just end up getting pissed off with all the fireball spammers and it just wont be fun. People are generally better on ranked than friendly and I find matches quicker, so thats where I usually hang out. After every match ill say why did I win/lose and ill save the replay if the guy I played was really good (or it was a sick win by me ), so I can watch it and learn.
Queue for Ranked Matches: 5 minutes Queue for Friendly Matches: 10 seconds There's no point on playing ranked matches for me anymore... Actually there's one, just to get all icons(complements).
Not for me, ranked matches seem to connect much faster and the people generally tend to be better. Also I don't care too much about ragequits, thats their problem if they want to try and make themselves look better than they really are. For me it's about getting better at the game and having exciting matches, not climbing the bp ladder.
Mooken - My phone is acting weird all of a sudden, gamecenter is messing up. Going to hard reset and will be on later.
Awesome games as usual Rshkhsee!! Tonight's charcters were all the least I use for a match, esp Balrog ( I am the champ) lol!
