Hey man, what do you do to avoid the air throw (from cammy), all I can do is predict it and do a banishing flat, otherwise it will hit me even if I jump back. If I do a lariat, good chances she don't do the grab, but the sweep.

I think it was Snooper or someone else that plays Cammy mentioned a few pages back that all you have to do is block low and you're safe. I hadn't really tested it out since I tend to react to it more offensively.

edit: maybe test this out on training mode. I never thought about it too much... but now I'm curious too lol.

Haha, Exactly! We just have to block low and we are totally protected against the grab and the sweep.
Just tested it on training mode and it is confirmed.

    Thanks for the advice! ;)

ya, i played that guy, he is really good

if he back dashes and then ultras after the untechable knockdown - you can backdash on wake up - the giant fireball's hitbox doesn't extend to it's front end

if he just walks back and then ultras, the fireball will be on top of you on wakeup, but you can perform a wakeup move that has some invincibility on startup. For me it's tiger uppercut. It'll knock him out of the focus attack.

If you're in the corner, however, I think you're screwed since you can't backdash - you just gotta eat the damage.

isn't "view progress" only for your avatar battles, and not your actual fighting match history?

Christ, Fei Long really blows on Volt. The limitation of his moves makes him pretty inferior to other options.

Fei is great against Honda and Deejay. His Rekka can punish Honda's Headbutt and Deejay's double-kick on block.
His wake-up mix-up game is a bit limited and lacks a quick low-hit poke, but his overhead mixed with command grab is nice.
EX chicken over fireballs is also great.
Definitely need to be a lot more patient with him. Not a high-offense character by any means. Very challenging to crack a defensive player.

Yeah, I main as Fei Long on the 360 and I find he's a lot easier to use there. Only reason I use Bison on Volt is because his combos and moves are absurdly difficult to use without the SP button :p

I couldn't be dropping any more combos if I tried. I think I've whiffed my last 10 ultras.

I dont have that many replays seeing as I just had to reinstall :( Ill try and get some more matches with ken.ken, cammy dhalsim is always fun. Al the videos are pretty good quality except the one with ken.ken, i dont know why.

A poll has been posted for how the next Double-Elimination Tournament should be setup:
    http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=109385

For those interested in participating on Season 2, make sure to vote on the format. The pick with the most votes will be used.

Edit: messed up option 2, it should be (Total of 4-9 games to decide)

Feis great against pretty much everyone except maybe abel, zangief and dhalsim. he can chip you all day with safe chicken wings, safe rekkas and his crouching hard punch. he doesnt have a great low poke but he does have a crossup and an overhead. and anti air is no problem at all, flame kick if theyre close, standing kick if theyre far. and unlike cody he can start a combo from a low hit, cr lk-cr lp-rekka. also his focus attack is insane and he has a (pretty crap) command grab. feis perect for cracking defensive opponenets, cammy has a hard time against defensive opponents.

    Snooper (or anyone),

Any advice on recording matches with a digital camera? I am still trying to upload my match against invisible Blanca and the first tries came out kind of blurry and/or with glare. Yours look pretty nice so thought I'd ask.

heh, never watched myself play on someone else's replay before

i missed way too many punishes on blocked DPs - especially @ 2:29 - if i kara-dp into ultra there, you're dead

In round 1, that was a super sick ultra to close out the round. I totally dork up the ultra link, but then claw my way back w/ no life. I jumped back to reset and see you walk toward, so i think you're gonna spiral arrow me, so I EX tiger shot low. But the ultra! Truthfully, up until then, I forgot you don't have to charge Cammy's ultra. Everyone either links to it from that spin knuckle or hooligan combo, or tries to punish fireballs w/ it from a crouching position.

Excellent combo to close out round 3, you needed every last pixel. That double dp is hard to do, esp with the pressure on.
