Slide is a very big deal - if you space right it's frame neutral and it forces fei into a more defensive game on the horozontal and minimizes his pokes. Now that they are spending a lot of time doing paranoid low-blocks, your jump-ins become deadly.

electricity is also an awesome counter for half of fei's moveset.

haha. i've realized that i'm not very good at any one character, so i just have to use lower-tier characters and surprise ppl.

Nice Game Nullroar! Will post the results up on the tourney thread...

Damn I think our Bison / Gief could have fought on forever... LOL! Last part was like, so exciting, each trying to stay out of the zone... My last jump was a mistake and I knew it...

Dear god, that was likely the closest match I've ever played. I honestly had no idea who won for about 20 seconds.

Mad respect to your bison. You pounded my blanka into the sand and intimidated me from choosing him again.

I think Blanka is tough vs. Bison, as long as I keep out of his jump range, his attacking options starts to get limited, except for the occasional slides. Gief is a different thing altogether. I had to kick you like 5 times = 1 grab, so Bison must be damn damn damn alert and any missed jumps in Bison can get punished easily.

Side story: Was having some rounds with Mooken earlier, I think Mooken you should focus on CHUN LI. She has potential, I can sense it... Damn those thunder thights... Claws are tough, even when Claws start spamming the flying thingy for cross over, pyscho crashers either hits him or flys far far away...

Yea man, mooken has a great Chun Li and could beat my Gief. Nice control and a lot of unpredictable moves.

Chun Li is a great character and since no one uses her it's way better, because few people really know how to handle her.

I was actually surprised at how well makoto handled psycho crushers, and bison's super. Also, her command grab yanked you out of psycho crushers.

I play a good amt with Chun, so I have a good sense of where she's effective, and where her gaps are. She has serious limitation on her anti-air, and her focus is awful. Her super meter is much better used on EX moves, and her revenge is only really effective on fireballers, unfortunately. Any juggles on her revenge is only good for a handful of hits, not the full revenge. She's also missing an effective quick poke, but yea she's good as one of my options, esp since she has high/low mixups on wake-up/fireball.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks BleBla. Damn that Gief is a beast, esp the linked 3-4 normals, and that wake-up sweep is dangerous, even hits if I'm jumping back.

ParadoXxx14 - ragequitter. It was obvious how he got 6k bp, but I figured I'd give him a chance to prove otherwise. Alas, t'was not to be. Be warned.

I recalled someone poke me with her standing punch (I think?) and it was quite quick and effective (not as fast as Makoto but better range perhaps?)...

That sounds naughty... Chun Li poking me... :D

her standing medium punch is really quick and decent range. and in the corner she can juggle full ultra off ex legs or that step towards kick target combo thing

well good bison is not going to jump on sagat in that way just because he can, lol. and the same actually works for bison vs sagat who makes it. the problem with headstomp for sagat is that he should repeat jumping or dashing or kicking, otherwise online headstomp will always hit or do block dmg if you try to react on it, also because the sagat is so slow. but again he has some other great tools to put some offensive on bison players.

if i play with bison vs gief i try not to make any jumps in, only standing kick and sometimes knee press, or any missed jump and gief gives some.

ive been using fei long for the past hour and he is stupidly good. the safeness of rekkas and chicken wings is ridiculous. i might use him as a backup instead of sagat for the tournament

He uses the jailbreak loophole. I mentioned back on page 407. There are definitely still people out there ruining the game for others.

And on that note, holy crap!! I played John Wong118 (Blanka) today and he was INVISIBLE!! He wasn't very good and I still beat him the second round. Wasn't this a cheat in one of the original console versions? For some reason it just sounds familiar. Anyway, I saved the replay and have no idea how to upload it. I'll probably copy it on my Macbook Pro webcam but no ideas from there. Thoughts?
