Anyone know the trick to landing Balrog's Ultra after a headbutt? Tried several times in training, but only the first hit makes contact and the rest just whiff. Is there specific timing involved?
His Ultra lets you choose straight punches vs uppecuts for each of the 5 punches, by holding down P vs K for each punch. You'll need to use uppercuts (i.e. hold kick) for the first 2-3 punches.
Whoa, all this time I manual the ultra to get the uppercuts to come out. I had no idea you can hold the K after pulling out the shortcut ultra. Awesome tip!!!
And here's some excelent Akuma's combo: Without FADC (DMG: 413 / STUN: 469) With FADC (DMG: 433 / STUN: 487) And I also played against a cheater, he just hacked his BP. I'm gonna record a video later to explain how-to do this combo.
I never tried messing around a lot with Akuma's combo. This is what I was able to come up with: Edit: (DMG: 518 / STUN: 697) Opponent in corner, j.hp -> Double RH -> mp -> EX Tatsu -> 2 hit from EX SRK -> FADC -> Fire Hadouken. And then there's this one: (DMG: 526 / STUN: 714) It's impossible though since I finished it with EX Fire Hadouken using up 5 bars.

Pretty slick! Sometimes I wish the game had a System Direction menu like Third Strike where you could turn on cheats like unlimited Super gauge or something like that. It'd be fun to have access to all sorts of insane combos that aren't possible in the straight game. And you guys got me wondering how old everyone is in this thread. I'm 32. Good question.... I am 60 years old j/k I am 24, I have never played SF before it came to the IOS. I grew up playing MK and still do (alongside The KOF ofcourse)
I believe the best combo for easiest juggle was uppercut - straight punch (whiff) - uppercut uppercut uppercut + Final blow. At least, that's the one grueling comp. Uses.
Tried replicating some of the more intricate combos online. There's no way with the drop in inputs and random lag spikes which cause these 1-2 frame links close to impossible and they can interrupt it with whatever SP move they are mashing on. But all in all, I'm not sure if there's any non-impossible combo that does more than 518 dmg without a counter hit to start the combo. Can anyone prove me wrong? In the picture, you can see that there's a 661 dmg combo and 39 hits (40 hits if there's a FA before Lv2 Ultra, but does WAY less damage). That's with the perfect setup of having enough stun built up and finishing the combo leading to a stun, then launching a Lv2 Ultra. I've had it do 685 damage if the opponent has full health, but in a real match, it will never do that much damage since you need to chip away a little of their life to build up the stun and the damage reduction kicks in soon enough when they reach 50%. It would somewhat differentiate the people that only spam the SP button from those that are actually able to do the motion to pull off the moves for the EX version. It would also be a little hectic with moves that have 1 frame invincibility. As for how old I am, just like Wediafom, I'm 24 years old and still remember SF2 when I was 5 years old... Then later, MK came out and I just played that non-stop on the SNES.
