It's funny how people behave when points/records that don't really mean anything are on the line. Ah well.

So I've been playing a lot of Ryu mirrors lately. Maj wrote this article on how a Ryu mirror is possibly the most interesting matchup in any SF game because Ryu is always a footsies character and pretty much has an answer to anything, and because of this, playing a Ryu mirror is a good indication of how good your footsies are. I have to say mine have improved quite a bit since I've been playing more Ryu, and it's really carried over even to my Guilty Gear playing.

Very true. To improve as a player, it also helps that Ryu is well balanced but not extremely good at anything, and that to make him "work" it's never good to autopilot.

    It still works on ios9.

Yeah I don't play as recklessly as I used to (tho I still have my moments especially when I know I can get away with it lol!) You can't play Ryu carelessly and win which was a tough pill to swallow. Everything has to be carefully considered. He's interesting, I've been having fun playing him in other SF games too lately. My bro and I had some Ryu mirrors in Third Strike over the weekend and it was a lot of fun.

I'm pretty bad at Ryu in Volt I think. Though when I used to play Ryu mirrors with a friend for Street Fighter 4, he had better execution, but I had better gimmicks and footsies so I did bette

    I love it!

I managed to do one that involved EX SRK fadc flying EX hurricane. I did it a few times and now I'm having a hard time reproducing it, I can't seem to jump quickly enough. :-/

I was jumping forward because I was fadcing the ex Srk. I don't know how I got it to work but I'll try what you suggested. It's not a practical combo but it's really fun lol!

Some random bugs. Mainly cosmetic, nothing gamebreaking.

People still play online though, but this game is definitely well into the decline

As Harle says it has to be done with the tiger knee motion, because it is literally impossible to jump first and QCB later. Ken's instant ex air tatsu and Makoto instant ex axe kick are the hardest "tiger knee" motions to do. Cammy's much simpler since you can hold up-back. Ryu can do some easy stuff in the corner too, but the juggle randomness of his air ex tatsu is not the best.

There is a very tiny delay between the last directional input and the button press. Something like 1 or 2 frames.

    Hey guys, Jack here!

I don't know if you guys still know me, but if so I'm really happy haha
I used to play this game sooo much back in the days, but I stopped idk why.
Today I thought off this game again and wanted to look if this forum was still active. Turns out it is not that much anymore. BUT the bigboy HarlequinRogue is still active :)

I have got an iphone 5 with ios 8. Is it possible to download this game again and are there still people playing this game online?

    Jack!

Game, still works on latest iOS for the most part with some small (not gameplay-related) problems.

I think Capcom are taking servers down. I have tried trying to play ranked with 2 phones both searching but can't find a match, but I could find matches on the japanese version 2 weeks ago
