Yeah im still playing on the Korean version. I'm really surprised they haven't released it internationally yet.

Haha! I bet it'll be awhile before we get that. But I hope we do and that Capcom doesn't mess it all up.

Is anyone still playing Volt here? I saw a guy on Arena named Felix. He's playing Cammy apparently and I wondered if it was the same guy who used to be here.

Most likely not. Felix loved his Yun and he would remember your name

    Best and optimal combo.

My favourite is FA2/3, Fake Stone, Ultra for that BM. I'm not sure if people realise I'm pretending fake stone is a taunt.

Cody fake stone is the closest thing to a taunt in Volt, nice touch lol. Viper feints are also like a taunt.

He accepted my request but yeah that's right, he was a Yun player unless he turned over a new leaf.

    That is hilarious! xD

So I've been working on Ryu and he feels so weird lol! So different from Guile. I can't punish things with him that I can Guile or even Geif so getting used to that has been a hard lesson.

Want Japanese Chun, but also want English Ken and Cammy. No voice select.

What exactly can you punish with Guile and not with Ryu? It seems quite strange.
If it's long range stuff, did you try tatsu?

Guys the community is shrinking so much that we can start thinking about compiling a list of players with activity window.

We have a whatsap group, if you want to join.

Also, I've been playing around with Zangief. I found out that Honda has the fattest upper body by pretty much a pixel. And now we have this Honda only combo:

Note: this is the most damaging 1 bar combo off a hit confirm.

Ryu's normals just seem to come out slower overall which makes sense, but I don't have the frame data to prove it. The fact that I don't know him anywhere near as well as Guile probably doesn't help. If there's lag, I don't take any chances and usually just do the most simple stuff because I fully expect to get blown up unless.

    Most of Ryu's normals are 1f. That's his cr.LP, cr.MK, cr.HK, s.HP, cr.HP. His far s.HK might be 2f, but I'm not sure.

EX Fireball is a fast punish, 1f startup on that thing. Of course his super is one of the fastest punishes in the game

Indeed? Hm. He just feels weird somehow. The shotos in SF4 have never "felt" quite right to me somehow but I'm getting used to him. I want to get another S character so I can keep him but try for an S Guile too.

His hit confirms are awesome tho. Like jabs or low forward into big damage works so well!

I also ran into 0 Kills on Ranked tonight on Volt and played a few matches with him.

Also, there are some combos that I've heard people say they did but I can't replicate. If anyone can record them or show me how to do them (or show that they can't be done) that would be great!

    Currently:
-Cosmic Heel, EX Sky High Claw
-cr.HP (Meaty, CH (I'm assuming)), EX Cannon Strike

I remember Jonathan Lung told me he did it. I could never replicate it. It's just a link. cr.HP is already +1, with meaty and CH you get some stupid +frames

I tried it but it would always be too far for the Ex canon strike to connect, are you supposed to delay the canon strike instead of doing the instant version? I also tried characters that seemed like they had larger hurt boxes such as Zangief, Abel, Bison, Honda, Sagat, and even Yun. Maybe if her cr.hp didn't stand up it would be easier.
