Sorry for spamming... It could be interesting if the game implemented the shortcuts in this way: pressing SP (with SP on), or super, or ultra would just complete the input for a motion in the next available frames. For example: Guile holds down back for enough frames to charge a flash kick and then presses SP+down. After pressing it the game takes the next frame to input up(+back)+kick independently of what the user actually presses on screen, and then a flash kick comes out. This would balance some SP on/off inequalities (see instantaneous srk, or Gief's ultra). The downside of this possibility is that, when the same combo with flash kick is done on/off, K and SP are not pressed at the same time, so there could be some difficult with links. Probably they made the right choice in development after all (definitely better than the 3ds).
You can't input a dash for super/ultra motions like Guile's, unless you come out of a focus attack. You can check my youtube videos for flash kick, fadc, fultra. I'm pretty sure the way charge buffering works in volt is you get the leniency of additional input (and same to SP to a lesser extent)
You can dash ultra with guile, ive done it before. Down back, forward, forward, slide finger to up back clock wise, SP (Db, f, f, df, d, db , b, ub, SP) Its pretty hard to do, but it can be done im 100% sure.
You've also told me you did Hell Attack, EX Psycho Crusher, FADC, EX Psycho Crusher. WHY DO THESE THINGS NOT WORK FOR ME?
Yesterday I found a 7000+ bp guy (seismichammer). Of course he does not rematch after losing. I don't think he's legit, also because he has 4653W/5259L on ranked and 165W streak, but the two matches we had are uploaded anyway.
Yes but with black bars on the side and no retina display. The online has a bug at the moment that capcom has not fixed, while fighting online the game will freeze/disconnect at around 79-71 seconds of the first round. If the match goes past this time then your good to go. I guess it has something to do with ios 8. Capcom does know about the bugs but not sure if they planing on updating.
Played a Sim and he quit on me. An upset Ryu player got angry because I didn't want to play matches with him.
Most Likely he faced or staged a match with a bp hacker with 9999999 bp and played those games non stop.
I think it's still fairly easy to download a card with hacked BP. iirc, gamefaqs that up for download a while ago (not sure now)
Checked on youtube for hacked BP tutorials and found an old video of a guy showing how to do it. He then goes to the player's card to show the BP and there's written that he RQ the last 7/10 times. Some people have no shame, but, silly me, what was I even expecting.
All the times that I played BP hackers, they also RQ. I suppose winning vs a 9999999 BP gives you the max obtainable points from a match? Is it something like 150 BP? A couple of times I even lost the first two matches on purpose for baiting them to stay, but nope they quit the third one if they lose anyway.
Max BP is +/-128. If you beat someone with the same BP with you, you gain 64 points I thought about trying to come up with a formula for it, but needed many data points for it.
I always assumed it used some variant of the ELO rating in chess, with both maximum and minimum cutoff. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system#Theory (Please forgive the little scientist's boring stuff below.) If this is true, using the ELO formula for the update in a match (the 5th one on wikipedia) specialized to the case of two players with the same points one gets: newpoints = oldpoints + K * (1-0.5) for the winning player. Here K governs the amount of exchanged BP and on its right there is an estimated probability of win/loss: since the player has won it exceeded his/her probability 0.5 of winning by 1-0.5=0.5). If we now use your finding that when two players with the same BP fight they exchange 64 BP (independently of their original BPs): newpoints = oldpoints + 64 BP we can reconstruct the constant K = 128 BP. In the ELO rating there is still another number to be fit, that is the one that governs the computation of probability of winning/losing out of the actual rating (it is the number 400 on wikipedia's section). Tonight I'll play a couple of ranked matches to determine that number and test the theory. If you happen to take note of some BP exchanges (your BP, foe's BP, gained/lost BP) that would help too cause I don't like playing ranked.
