SFV is cofinanced by sony. So we are going to see a port of the game if the ios market is not perceived as a threat by the big S. Arguably, it's not going to happen since it seems sony is scared by microsoft only, but who knows, they might want to have it exclusively on sony phones or whatever.

I know you can do it on Zangief. IDK if it works on more characters.

    Character Specific.

Guile can do it on Zangief. Off the top of my head, Neither Chun nor Vega can do it.

I would try on Honda/Zangief because they crumple the slowest

What's everyone's fastest time for beating the game on the following settings:

    Grueling
    3 rounds
    Beating = beating boss akuma

Mine is 9:49:40, although I think I could get it lower.

    Not at all.

We hope to get a Vita version from Sony and Capcom later.

Shame: I've never beaten the game in grueling! Do you guys do it consistently or does it take some try every time?

It's pretty tough considering how much CPU whiff punishes and how crazy boss bison and shin akuma are. But there's an exploit. If you would lose the round, exit the app and close it. It will let you restart the round

Street fighter 4 Volt has 22 characters and online play

Wow so they aren't considered to be on the ground during crumple?

Few frames of being grounded and then try are airborne before finally knocked down.

There actually are some interesting combos you can do with a airborne opponent after a crumple. I think they are quite unexplored in AE combo vids too

I don't beat the game every time (as in getting an all clear). CPU bison is one of the lamest and cheapest characters in the game! A good chunk of my time is spent out laming CPU bison:|

All the crazy punishes were exactly the problem.
Awesome to know the exploit, thanks.

As Harle said, they are considered airborne, that's why if you hit them late with a normal they go in the backflip animation and you cannot continue the combo.

If I understand correctly, the omega version on console has a new crumpling state which allows to connect some throw in combo (probably some airborne crumple still has the blue hitbox for throws). I'm waiting for some video that explains it.

Grueling is actually rather easy. Most characters (Boss Bison and Shin Akuma included) have some kind of behavior that can be exploited by most of the cast (IMO Dhalsim is the character that has the most problems in grueling).

Most characters with a DP (Ryu, Ken, Sagat, Fei Long, etc) love to DP on wakeup (or after a reset) if you go for a non-empty jump-in. If you go for a good timed cross-up non-empty jump-in they will most probably perform a DP. Fei Long is the one that gives the most problems with this since his DP hits from both sides, but it's still possible to bait it and block it with some strict timing on the jump.

Dhalsim and Blanka don't know what to do against FA. Especially Blanka. He will either go for a slide, cr.HP or electricity, and all of them can be punished with a fully charged FA.

Boss Bison will teleport most of the time against a jump in. With a bit of timing it's possible to punish it.

And some other things that would make this post way too long. I haven't found exploits for all the AI's though. Makoto and Cody come to mind.

Akuma is by far the best character for grueling. Tatsu x cl.HP reset and then into divekick and P or K followup (depends on the opponent) will trigger either a DP that will get whiffed or an AA that will also go whiffed.

CPU blanka is the worst character ever! The CPU literally just spams electricity.

When I play against CPU boss bison he rarely teleports against me and almost every jump in is punished. When he does teleport he immediately follows it with an ex scissor kick.

However, against blanka, CPU bison does have a pattern but it requires extremely lame and just countering his jump ins with a backflip kick.
