Playing a bit yesterday with little success. I like the challenges, it's just that I suck. Is trading allowed?

Not sure if this counts: Ken (vs Abel, didn't test anybody else) in the corner. SRK fadc 2nd hit, SRK immediately after, ex SRK.

The second SRK pushes high enough letting Ken recovery for the third. The second and third are consecutive then. I tried to get the opponent airborne in a variety of ways to substitute the first SRK fadc, but didn't make it.

Also, I'm not sure if the last SRK can be non EX (meaning: if it can juggle the third hit of the previous one), but I don't think so. EX SRK juggles even the super if you have five meters...

I tried similar things with Sakura but none worked.

SRK, FADC, SRK, SRK is a common combo.

I'm asking for FA 3, SRK, SRK on a grounded opponent

(Technically the first 2 hits of EX SRK do not increase juggle point)

I played a bit the past week after a long time. All my characters are rusty, but the charge ones did ok.

There's a player I was used to fight often and is still there, ==Kenny== or something like that. He got a brand new Rog (at least I've never played his Rog before) that I enjoyed mirroring much. There's something in the mirror Rog match that I find very enjoying.

There's also this other chinese player that I found a few times, playing Honda. As soon as he realizes I have no autoblock he spams the stomp move and double presses the home button while in midair. He won a bunch of times like this, but of course he quits before losing. This guy has a couple of setups, but I can't decide if he's really good or just a spammer.

He's using dirty tricks to defeat you and you're wondering that? WUT???

    Also, SFV.

rog v rog is pretty amusing matchup. It's about being able to react with correct punches from midscreen.

So I got asked this question, but I'm sure there's plenty of room for discussion: Who are the best and worst footsie characters in Volt?

You are right, but I like to see the good in a fighter even if greed makes him cheat.

Also, SFV only on PS4 and PC. We know why only on nextgen: since the plan is to have the game's lifespan of about 4-5 years, the PS3 would probably gonna be old for the latest installment Super SF5 champions edition or whatever. I have no clue why only on PS though. Did you get to see anything at all? I heard of a trailer.

For pure footsie that must be Vega, followed closely by Chun.
Guile and Bison have good options too.
It is just that one barely sees footsie at all in volt.

Just to justify the obvious with Vega: 2 hits standing HP with long active hitbox; 2 hits standing HK with good range; both crouching punches are quick, have amazing range and can confirm from half screen away; the hop kick has so many applications; crouching medium kick is quite quick and he even has a slide. He has not a single button that is useless, and the walkspeed to make them worth.

I put Cammy as having good footsies.

She has good walkspeed, dashes, some of the best buttons in the game, reliable specials and a really good dive kick.

I don't like Vega's s.HP. It's really bad to use to tech throws . Compare it to Cammy's Godly cr.HP. That move is unbelievably good

On standing HP you're absolutely right, but I was not factoring in teching as I felt that it belongs to a closer range part of the game.

Standing tech is unfortunately a problem for many characters, see also Ryu. I'd like to have an update allowing for both cr.k and cr.p to tech, so each character can choose to tech using a light crouching normal as it should.

I have no idea of what character has the worst footsie game. Cody seems good on paper, but then he ends up losing a lot.

Obviously Dhalsim has the worst footsies.

Keep in mind I'm defining footsies as the neutral game at all ranges. Excluding Dhalsim, I think Abel is pretty bad

Looks like KI may see a PC port. I've been waiting for that since first hearing about the game.

And about SFV. We got mobile ports of SFIV and SFxT. I think it's safe to say that we'll be getting a mobile port of SFV.

I'm actually hoping for a proper port. Well, maybe without some chars, stages and other crap, but at least miles better than SFxT Mobile. Capcom's last few games released on iOS (Ace Attorney 5 and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for iOS) were QUITE good.

You can air grab Ken with Guile during the second part of the ultra animation (easy), and air grab a Blanka during ultra (medium, but lovely to watch).

Can you air grab an opponent during the crumpling animation in volt? The setup could be FA3, neutral jump, grab just before landing. I've seen it on AE videos and tried a bunch of times unsuccessfully. It might be character specific. It's similar to that funny Chun combo that stomps after focus.
