Was hoping for Eng version too. Not a big issue though but it'd really complement the entire experience
Combo challenge: Have a focus attack in the middle of a genei Jin combo. That is, combo into the fa and then continue the combo as long as possible
Correction about the damage boost on sf arena. Its actually a all stat boost so it will boost all the stats that are available according to the character rank. Each character has 8 different kinds of stats. C rank character = 2 stat boost B = 3 A = 4 S = 5 Not sure if SS rank exists So far i only know HP stat exists, the others might be, damage, super meter gain?, rage meter gain?, speed? (walk speed?), stun?, defense?, ???? Red focus combo a and b may also have different properties like one gains super meter and does less damage and the other rage meter and more damage or vice versa. I also found that yun cant do st.lp, cl mk in sf arena EDIT: Checked the files and SS rank exists. Second Edit: Ive seen SA rank and AA rank
Corner After genei jin is active Shoulder (to launch them in the air) Over head Palm Fa 1 Dash Whatever
Ok so im going to discuss something i have noticed in the new upcoming SF: Arena. So we know the game sucks, its not what we want, it kills the competitive balanced feeling, but............. After playing hours of this game somethings i like to point out -the replay value is incredible, just on single player i have played over 75 battles each consists of 3 rounds and has 1 different character each round. Each battle increasing the difficulty and im still not done. Not sure when it will end. -online a bunch of koreans have diamond content. It means revenue for capcom even if we dont like it. I still win though with my high rank FREE cody!!! (Never thought i would learn cody so much) -the stat buffs, stats difference is not that bad, if your a good fighter you can take on a SA grade character with your C grade character. Makes me feel like this might be what they will do on the next gen fighter but thats another topic. -credits replenish real fast for me, i think its cause im playing single player too. -netcode feels better -in game challenges has a way to win free diamonds and lots of gold -building more than 1 character seems like a lot of work, even 1 character is alot of work
Guys, guys, GUYS!!!!!!!!!! Soooo SNK pulled KoF-i 2012 from the store. You can still download it from the purchased history tab though. But the thing is... THEY RELEASED IT AGAIN AS ANOTHER APP!!!! Ok, that doesn't seem that important because it's the same game, but after comparing the European and the American names... THEY ARE THE SAME!!!!! No dots, no nothing, EXACTLY the same!!!!!! In other words: NO MORE REGION BLOCK!!!!!! Or at least I think so. I'm going to buy the game from the Spanish store. Could someone do the same with his store and try to play with me? If it doesn't work we only have to ask Apple for a refund. I guess in some way this sucks a bit, but it would be impossible for them to just update to get rid of the region block since the apps themselves are different. EDIT: yup, it's the same game on every store. I still have to try playing some matches though.
I just played against someone from Japan!!! IT WORKS!!!! The KoF-i 2012 that's on the store right now doesn't have region block. WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Oh, and he RQ'd lol
I'm like 99,99999999% sure that the region block is gone. Also, the save data from the previous version still works with this one.
Wanted to point out that you still get points and rewards if people RQ on you in Arena. Not sure what they do to the rage quitters as punish though.
A notification for your post appeared while I was playing against a Guile when I was about to press Ultra to punish his cr.HK No way the weakest character is Kula though. Just no way. She has a slide that punish FBs, a special that allows her to absorb a FB and throw another one that's very fast (and that also works as a hard knockdown finisher when juggling), a SRK that most of the time goes unpunished because IT TRAVELS THE WHOLE SCREEN, and a very annoying wake up pressure with forward+SP which can lead to powerful combos. Her only weakness is the combos. She needs to get close in order to start one, unlike other characters like Kyo. About Mature IDK.
Kensou maybe? All i know is Daimon has a very good footsie game and can punish from far and his anti air is so good.
What were the regions? America/Europe/Asia or Japan/rest of the world? I tried to play it online in the early days but never managed to find opponents in less than 5 mins... If you now tell me it takes less to find fights I might reconsider it!
I'm not sure. Since that version got pulled everywhere I can't check it, but I'm quite sure it was more than three different apps because I remember seeing the app from NZ having a different title. About if it's easier to find opponents in the new version, right now it's mostly the same. Remember that the app was just released and you can't play against people that have the older app. That said, since the older app got pulled, only this one will receive updates and sales which will get more users. Yesterday I played against three guys, all three being novice players that just got the game (even though two of them had EX Kyo).
Confirmed SF arena Character Ranks C, B, A, AR, S, SR R stands for rare (i assume has better stat boost) Online ranks Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Grand Master Ai assist boost depending on your character rank so if your charcter rank is C rank you ai assit will be easy dificulty, B normal, A hard, S Grueling. So in other word if your online and the opponent has 0 lag and doing counter hit impossible human combos he is using AI assist boost. Edit: I take back what i said about the netcode. Its like SFxT bad. Why? I have better connection in japan volt vs japanese players than korean players that have arena. All the matches are jumpy, and slow unless opponent is using ai assist.
