So something i figured out on arena. One of the boosts is red focus!!!! Not sure if only can ise it once per match all the whole time! Broken!!! Another thing is my chun-li can be different to another chun-li online. For example The first time i downloaded the game my chun-li was boosting hp and damge. I deleted it and downloaded it again and then my new chun-li is boosting hp and some other stat im not sure which one it is cause i cant read korean but yea different than my first chun-li.
Not sure Also i think friendlies also have a kof style vs mode 3 char vs 3 char. That would be fun. But i thunk you cant use your main char for this. If only i could read korean
If I pay more I win more? This is ridiculous, Capcom is not for such thing, look at the previous street fighter!
You mean SFxT Mobile, where you could buy with IAP a lvl 5 or EX Inmense Power Pandora box at the start and get one heck of a boost against people of the same level with a lvl 1 Pandora box? We already talked about Arena some time ago. It has upgrades for characters, different "ranks" of characters (C rank Viper is worse than S rank Viper and so on) and some other nonsense. Right after starting the game you could get some IAP and get a fully upgraded S rank character. That's the definition of pay-to-win. Zangief vs Yun is already a nightmare in Volt. Arena is pretty much the same game except some little changes like no charge needed for Supers and Ultras. Fully upgraded S rank Zangief vs C rank and 0 upgrades Yun would be near to impossible. And I didn't even talk about the other freemium "features" of the game, like tokens, pay for the rest of the cast, etcetcetc.
There are some boosts to characters stats that can only be achived with $$$ so pretty much its pay to win always. Even if the game is out for long and you have maxed out your char for free.
So the red focus you have to commit to the full focus animation and you cannot released it early. Weird shit.
Another weird find is that you can set the AI to play for you during a match (specific boost). During the match tou can turn it on or off if you want to take over.
Ok so i finally understand the red focus. So on Arena There are 2 boosts, one that says A and one that says B. This boost activates the combo button. Both start with a red focus, then the character if it hits the focus starts doing a crazy ass 4 bar combo even if you dont have the meter for it. A and B are just different combos and they are already automatic so you can not set them up. So that would be 5 boosts in all Damage, Hp, Red Focus Combo A (once per round/match), Red Focus Combo B (once per round/match), AI assist on/off. In single player you can get bunch of these boosts free or just pay in gold each match. (Gold is in game currency) (diamonds = $$$) There are also some passive boosts, but i dont know how to unlock those. Maximum of 5 total 1 slot is free but you need $$$ to unlock all 5 slots. I have seen exp boost, bp boost, damage, hp, walk speed, etc. So far my chun-li cant go past 10lvl and she is C grade with a c+6 boost still. (Havent played online yet). C+ boosts can be done with diamonds, i used the free diamond you get from completing all the combo challenges. All characters are different. With diamond you can unlock a-S grade characters. C-B grade can be unlock with in game gold so unlocking all the characters is basicly FREE!! but you have to level them up and play online to get them to S grade each. The game selects a random char so you cant pick when you select 1 more character. I still havent tested the KOF style system cause i cant get it working yet.
Just found out you can also have more than one of the same character. Now i have 2 chun-li's wtf. :/ Im guessing you can build different type of status build for each of the same character
Ok so there is no KOF style system, just some slots were you place 3 characters to exchange for another.
Another thing about arena is that you always have to be on an internet connection, wifi or cellular. No internet, No game. Even single player you need internet.
