It seems it won't be Android-only in the end. The only thing that worries me is that Capcom may shutdown Volt's servers once this monstrosity gets released. What's the purpose of having two versions of the same game, one premium and the other one freemium, when they can delete the old premium one and force everyone into the pay-to-win version of the game?
Ok, been training Viper, have some Qs: (hope Harle or Capt or any other old-timer can answer this): I've noticed in watching reps that some players manage to mash out/spam that seismic hammer at a faster rate; I'm not sure if that's even possible, but it looks like that first seismic hammer cuts out or cancels into a second one, like the animation for it is shorter than one would expect. How's that done? Second, I've seen people cancel cr. mk into Ultra. Couldn't get Viper to do it to save my life in the training room. WTF? Any input here guys?
If Seismic Hammer gets blocked or hits, you can cancel it into a jump (press up-forward, up or up-back on the joystick). But that jump can also be canceled into any other stuff, so you can do: forward + SP (Seismic Hammer), up/up-forward/up-back (right after the hit), FA, forward/back And you get a free FADC after the Seismic Hammer.
One Thing...but Volt petition? Capcom ignore it? This game is a shame, the same game with a new interface( some photoshop for controls and status bar!

Fei Long has way better footsies and movement Guile: 4-6 Guile actually dominates Cody at all ranges. Ken: 4-6 Cody gets bullied too easily Makoto: 5-5 Quite fair. Can go either way M. Bison: 5.5-4.5 cr.MK can beat out a lot of things here Ryu: 5-5 Cody's Zonk works well against predictable fireballs. Still not good for Cody though Sagat: 3.5-6.5 Horrible matchup in AE too. Sagat dominates at all ranges and has crazy damage and tiger knee is unfair. Sakura: 5.5-4.5 Cody does damage more easily and Sakura doesn't have the tools to stop him Vega: 5-5 Cody can punish vega fairly well and can vortex him a bit. However Cody's slow speed makes him susceptible to flying cheese. Yun: 4.5-5.5 Both characters do a lot of stun. Cody has a hard time against crossover divekicks though Zangief: 3-7 Holy crap is this bad. Cody's slow speed, bad reversals, no reliable aa makes this a nightmare
Cant say much about cody (close to nothing that has to do with matchups), i will just agree with you since i know the hours you have spent online with this guy.

@Harley you havent updated the sheet with the cody matchup points. And i was thinking about that viper vs chun-li matchup, and i know its a bad matchup for chun-li but its at most 6.5-6 in vipers favor
Not yet. I'll do it when I do the next char. Viper chun is one of chun's worst matchups IMO. you just get beaten up by crossover burn kicks on wakeup
Actually Focus dash Forward and you can punish Viper. What kills chun-li entirely is the cr.mk to mid thunde knuckle
