If any of you have jailbreak and have flex 2. Check on the cloud - intalled apps tab for sf4idash. I uploaded a tweak that lets you play volt with no background music, but you can still hear special effects like punches/kicks/specials/etc. Its perfect for making combo videos with costum music. Or just play it and listen to other music while doing so Edit: there is also one for the japan volt.
What I did to do that was making two backups of each music file and setting the volume of one of them to 0, and now if I want to play without music I only need to copy the no-music folder and if I want the music back, the other folder. A bit of a headache, but there's no need to buy Flex. But anyway I can't record audio from the iPhone (only with the laptop's mic and it souns quite bad), so...
There are ways to get flex free. With the tweak you can just enable or disable whenever so no need to edit the files.
Sorry Ches I got to go, fun games I failed so hard every time I tried to do something fancy lol like the Sagat super
Grab, wal bounce, slap, air grab, and there goes 35-50% of your health. Can't wait to see him in a new volt interrupting a jab jab jab.
Ultra Throw is actually a "slow" command grab. I'm not sure how it would translate to a new Volt though because of the framerate. I was only looking forward to Rolento, but that video makes me want to also play Hugo. I already play him in SFxT (Rolento/Hugo is my new pair in both the PC and mobile versions), but damn, his USF4 version doesn't only look stronger but also way funnier to play. Every top player says that he's even worse than Dan though...
That's because they're not playing Hugo correctly in USF4:CE. Ultra Street Fighter 4: Combofiend Edition.
I don't get it Don't lose time with the PC version. Apart from almost no one playing the game (even more people play the mobile version), once you find someone the netcode will make you regret it.
Hi all. Apologies for jumping now into this thread. I had the original SF4 but my main gripe was that there weren't any end game cut scenes/story boards like the non-ios versions. As such, single player arcade felt a bit incomplete. Is Volt the same? I mostly only pay single player, so I was wondering if it would make sense to get it. Thanks.
Volt is pretty much SF4 with more characters and online. The rest is mostly the same, and that includes no cutscenes related to the story or any other thing in arcade mode. Well, you get to fight Akuma if you complete it without continues, but that's it. Anyway, I don't think this is the genre to look at if you want end game goals in your games. Fighting games are about playing with other guys and getting better while learning new things in the process. Single player fighting games don't make much sense IMO.
Thanks Varo for the thoughtful reply. I enjoyed playing fighting games as local competitive ones in my youth, both in arcades as well as in consoles. Alas, I never enjoyed doing so online, so I miss that part nowadays. The single player story of the characters was always an I interesting driver for me to complete the game with all the characters. Just that Well, thanks once again! All the best.
Maybe KoF-i 2012 is what you need. It offers a LOT of content for single player, all with cutscenes, collectibles and more. The problem of that game is that the online died quite soon, but I guess that's not a problem for you
C Viper does some ridiculous amount of stun with EX Red FA1. In Volt, you could do like: j.HP, FFF(F, cr.MK) xx TK, EX RFA1, FFF(F, cr.MK), EX Seismo, Burn Kick, (EX Burn Kick?) H TK
What's the highest stun combo you can get in the game? All normal rules apply. I can get 958. That's what I've calculated, but I'm 90% sure it works
