    Seth!!

I main him in AE but I know that the chances of him being brought to the mobile version are slim due to his insane amount of sp moves.

I don't think Seth is going to be ported to the mobile edition, he has a lot of moves and the 3 button(K,P,SP) can't handle it or it'll be bad.

I want Ibuki and Juri on the next update. Other characters I'd like to see are: Dudley, Rufus and Gen, but any other character is fine for me as long as they add more :)

Blanka's Ultra seems like more of a punish move than something you actively combo into to me. Guile's is sort of the same thing, you can't really combo into it because of the motion involved to do it, so it's almost better used after a Focus Attack or as a punish.

Here's the thing, though - in most cases of punishing, like on a jump in, Guile's ultra will actually miss a lot of it's initial damage frontloading. It does the equivalent damage of an ex srk if you use it on someone who is jumping in at, say, the apex of their jump. Lame.

And while you CAN punish with a guile ultra after crumple focus, you actually can't do that with Blanka. To the best of my knowledge, he's the only char in volt who can't land his ultra after a focus attack.

and I tend to miss Blanka's Super (only initial hit hit the target) and the remainder will whiff as the opponent falling to ground

btw to share with u all...

u can actually faking focus attack to land ultra for charging character ;)

For Blanka's Super/Ultra, you can hold the SP button after the initial part and it'll delay the roll so you can land the second part instead of whiffing.

when I said whiff...I mean when i connect the 1st hit...the opponent will be knock up and fall on ground faster than I touch on ground... which means I totally couldn't dmg him ...except the initial hit ...if im not mistaken

i will try it when I got the chance. Thank you

Yeah they definitely screwed the pooch with some of the Ultras in this game. Gulle's is borderline useless to me, I find that I get my own ass kicked more often than not when I try to use it. The Super is great but I usually would rather have the EX Booms than waste it on a Super which usually gets pro-rated to hell when the opponent's energy is low. :p

Anyone wanna get in a few games in say, a half hour? Just gonna have a bite to eat and I'll be ready.

Challenge 4 for Blanka is Focus -> Ultra. It's possible, but the timing is so strict compared to the other characters. You have to know when the game registers a forward hop after the focus hit to start charging backwards for the ultra.

So I just need to say this, Guile is the lamest character in Street Fighter 4 AE, that being said Guile is actually pretty badass in Volt and I didnt really appreciate it until I started messing around in training with him today.

In messing around with him I noticed a few combos that deal high damage that no one I play seems to utilize.

    The first of which is:

    j hk or hp> cr lp> cr lp> Flash kick> FADC >Foward kick
    5 hit combo 313 Damage 450 Stun

    j hk or hp> cr lp> cr lp> Sonic boom> FADC> Dash forward> cr lp> cr lp> cr lp> flash kick (EX if availible)
    8 Hits 263 Damage 360 Stun

From full screen Sonic boom> dash forward> jhp or j hk> cr mk> forward punch
    4 Hit Combo 227 Damage 300 Stun

Alot of Guiles seem to justify not using FADCing because they want to save the meter for ex booms or ex flash kicks but two ex booms only equal 82 and an ex flash is only 100 damage if connected which they rarely do unless you catch someone off guard.

If you can hit confirm the first hit of this combo on a jump in or even as a punish theres no reason not to spend the meter to take away a huge chunk of life bar. These are rather flashy and require some risks but you can replace alot of the jump in's with Focus attacks or bait punishs and take the risk away, also I understand the the connections sometimes do not allow for flashy playing but it would still be nice to see some variety from the standard defensive Guiles I keep playing online. He can definitly be way more offensive then people give him credit for and he has the life to take those risks.

Try it live. There's not even a 2ms window. The move is, quite literally, impossible online.

Just as I post about lame Guile players I play your Guile and eat my words.

you definitly should have had me so many times I was dropping combos left and right. We have to grind this match out sometime more than just our random first to 5's or 2/3's I love playing your Guile!

You my sir are my favorite kind of player the mean aggresive kind.
Good games as always Docta you always have me clenching my phone when we play.

Yea, I can imagine. It was tough enough to do it in training mode. Lv2 focus seemed to be easier, but it was still hard to pull it off consistently. Maybe it's because I don't use Blanka so I don't know his timings, especially for a forward dash after a focus and holding back to start charging for a move.

I thank you Volo and back at you! :) Thr bookkeeper her at work was cracking up because I'd be like, "F*ck!! How did I drop that damn combo!?!?" and otter stuff. Your Fei is a beast and I love playing you too. I saved a couple of the replays because I gotta study how you use your focus attacks. You use them better than anyone else I've played on here! Great games my brotha!

And I have an answer to your Guile post which I'll get to later when I have more time. ;)

Either there's something really weird going on with the speed tonight, or a night of playing proper Street Fighter IV last night has spoiled me - but for a few matches tonight it was like the game had been put into turbo mode!

Maybe I've finally had some lag-free games and that's the speed it's supposed to be! :) (In which case the controls really aren't up to the job*...)

Anyway, only three wins tonight and all rage-quit (how annoying is it when that happens just after you've hit the 'Good Game' button? I assume they don't get the complement [sic]?). Kept trying to do stuff that Ryu doesn't have in Volt (i.e. all of the useful stuff)! :)

Had a couple of Friendly games, and they both turned out to be vs Zangief. Great. I'm a big fan of the SP Assist, as you all know, but sometimes even I can't help but wonder how Volt Zangief players would fare in real life...

Not a very successful night's play, all in all. Hey-ho.

*I had thought that, bad as they are, they were as good as one could expect them to be and forgiven them a lot - until I played The King of Fighters-i...
