What so buffer HCB during s.HP and do an EX FA? It seems all you've accomplished is doing the EX FA later so you move a few pixels further back. Which you could do by just pressing FA later... You should look into recording what you mean...
Yeah that looks like what has to be done. I think what I really mean is that the graphical rendering fundamentally misrepresent exactly where the hitboxes and hurtboxes are, pretty much. This idea is, wonkily enough, 100% the reason why weird stuff in console happens. My theory is that there isn't actually very many different things you can do in the game from an input standpoint. Basically, everything is a state-change "option" and playing the game is "selecting". So sometimes there are weird tricks that end up being very powerful - i.e. Yun crossup shoulder reset. But pretty much, there is a priority in the game - "option" priority and that lets us do option "selects" because they're not actually our selection - it's the interaction between P1 and P2. So when you link, it's an instanced "option" - they're in hitstun and the hurtboxes are colliding in roughly the same fashion. But when you cancel, you've changed the "state" of the game and when you "drop" you've also changed the state of the game. Basically what I think happens like, in this case is... you'll see, it's ridiculous. When you shift between gamestates, they're actually recognizing your character in different locations and with different yes-and-nos checked off. So the viper unblockable is probably not actually unblockable because it would be contingent on something like this - since there's autoblock, even if they're holding down, one of the gamestates recognizes it as standing first frame - it hits right? The first frame in volt where you can go into your first frame of invince in a dp or a marseilles roll is where it starts, but this unblockable is literally the same condition as what Zhi calls Daigo "attack on titans" tatsu - the stand block hitbox where the neck is needs to be blocked on both sides, but the same frame handles the standing, and believes him to be simultaneously behind and infront of Gen. And the same frame handles the viper one that governs standing and usually it'd be blocked because autoblock probably assumes "viper in front you are changed to down-back" but the hit is happening from behind as well. So this sakura thing, at the moment where the fake-plink happens believes that sakura's second stand fierce frame is in effect, but when you "cancel" that, it snatches her out of trouble pretty much because that "instance" has been cancelled. Like, look at it like this, right, so usually we pretty much rely on pianoing to get the 2f links and plinking to get the 1f links and the reason why Fei-irl-dmg in AE was (while not completely fair) somewhat deserved before everyone pretty much knew that plinking would have to become the Thing that was because the "0 frame" differential means you have to hit the button in a window of the same frame as the chicken wing's last hit or else it'll push him out of range and st.hp has a million recovery frames on whiff right? Range difference in same-frame cancel Like, when UltraDavid and Jchen talk about Chris G not plinking in AE, pretty much either ChrisG sucks or he's not using a different button for it, I mean, that low forward into shouken (which we lack on this) is actually a 3f cancel it's like DPing a bad jump in pretty much and if you hit confirm like I do, it's like, I see the burst of yellow for hit and then it happens lol. And pretty much why Sako is so unbelievable is because very few of Ibuki's #2framez can be plinked and when he used to play Rose, pretty much all of those were contingent on him being the most amazing execution player under pressure of all time.
Did you guys know that Sagat's DP, FADC is -1 on block? Against an Akuma with the Super ready he can't do anything after getting his DP blocked to avoid it.
After changing the gamecenter id, I realized that some icons were lost. Each character has three icons, how do you get the third? Playing them online? Now I'm zetadroid which is waaaaay cooler than zomarz, so I feel like a kid again.
How did you lose them? Just after changing the GC username they disappeared? But yes, you get the third ones by using the characters in online MP.
