There's about 2359834697834679847 versions of Sf2 available. Oh and Ryu has cr.HP xx Tatsu (hard) as a crazy redizzy combo...
Could someone recommend how to get into a game like this, fighting game. The combos and all that other stuff always confused me in fighting games, they are very complex (resets, unblockables, etc).
I'm not sure if I want to put SF2C in the video. If I add it then it means I should also add SC, MvC2, KoF 97 and Samurai Shodown 2, but I don't like the idea of using 1:1 ports. What makes Volt, SFxT and KoF-i 2012 different is that they aren't exactly like the console versions. Perphaps I'll just make a video about some mobile games instead of all. Every single topic is explained in some detail, and most can be transfered to any FG. Then there are the three rules of thumb for becoming good at anything: 1) Dedicate a comparable amount of time to practicing and playing. (Not necessarily 50-50%, could be 10-90% or the opposite. Important is that you have to feel comfortable with the ratio you pick.) 2) Fix small short term goals, like doing a given combo. Achievements like this feed your sense of accomplishment, that ultimately makes you better in practice as you're more relaxed/solid/secure/satisfied etc. 3) Play 10.000 hours. http://www.wisdomgroup.com/blog/10000-hours-of-practice/ There is no such a thing like natural talent, or at least it is marginal. I'll give you an example. Many guys here are about 3x better than me. Guess what, if you check out the total number of games they played, over the number I played, you roughly get 3 (I really did it). EDIT: Most guys here... Let me add: 3b) Don't get discouraged by 3) using 2) for self-accomplishment. Eventually everyone will reach the cap (i think its level 40) and all will be at the same level. You get coins from watching ads daily (like 2k) and each match gets you 200~ coins. You also get daily coins and during matches if you pick the treasure boxes you get more coins. If you play with the free booster you will not be spending any coins, only in your skills. The key is concentrating in 1 character only (sad fact). Stars in matches gove you extra exp. The only thing i spent on was the 1 week double exp and the $8 dollar coin pack.
