figure that I should be back for a reply every once in a while. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WTZoFPfS50 check out 8:10 those random throws and shoryukens!!! that reminds us of some1 doesn't it? Apprunner?
Yes, and no one liked him. In fact we uses to have a chatzy room with a public link we would post in signatures, but due to him we had to keep it private because he would come in just to harass us
If he had iphone we would see him play volt LoL. All was pretty basic, except 2 of the sagat combos. Video is pretty old too.
I was watching the Killer Instict's Dojo videos and that video was suggested. No wonder Ryu's Ultra was nerfed. I did a quick search and it seems that it was indeed by Infiltration: http://shoryuken.com/2012/01/08/lg-android-sfiv-hd-combos-by-infiltration/ I didn't know that there was an official tourney for SF4 mobile though.
Holy ^#% i just read it and it was a global tournament were the qualifying winners from USA, Japan and Korea were flown to Seoul and the winners at Seoul won Cash. To bad volt never made it to stuff like this :/
I remember finding this video when watching the vesper's tutorials. At the time all combos seemed pretty advanced, but now it looks like some could use some small improvements. Like Ken's super into ultra can go through the full animation, or Ken's air tatsu should be ex (actually should test it in the vanilla). Overall, now I'm shocked by the damage output of the vanilla app. It would be amazing to have him as a player around.
Sad to hear this. He was quite friendly when replying my msg, though. We had a couple of good matches, but then he resorted to akuma for winning which I had to chase down with blanka. Guile could enjoy a slightly higher walkspeed.
Played the SF IV on an arcade and i can say that it's very difficult to throw a combo. What are the basic combos would you guys recommend?
Assuming you want volt's combos, they are very easy. Try Ryu's crouching medium kick into hadoken, quickly.
Sfiv on an arcade you have to be used to playing on fightstick, buy a cheap one on ebay and a sfiv game for pc, ps3 or xbox. If you only want to practice then download a free version of sfiv for pc. The key is practicing with the fightstick or to safe money go down to that arcade again and keep playing vs the CPU until you get the hang of it.
Well, even while it was only for the LG version of SF4 mobile, they still cared enough about the game to do an official tourney, something you can't say about other devs with mobile games. At least it gets my hopes up for some more support for the SF mobile games. Ryu's cr.MK xx Hadouken is probably the easiest and most known combo in any SF. Regarding the arcade stick, do people here use it?
Yup. It's a pity. Where are you from? I am from Singapore. I'm thinking that the lag could be due to our geographical locations.
