    Good. Lord.

    Makoto!

    Makoto! WRY!

Jump strong stand strong stand strong stand forward xx hayate xx super xx ultra links.

To add insult to injury, in the corner you can xx ex hayate xx fukiage xx ex tsurugi.

I think you can xx fukiage xx fukiage xx ex tsurugi actually, and even xx exfuki for the first one but I don't quite have the manual dex down pat yet.

    edit: tenonez with the miekrusspls

sorry fixing lagg it'll be better in like a minute.

edit: tenonez I'll be back in a bit. This lag is something Ineed to figure out the cause of.

    fakeedit:

I thought it was widely agreed that the new char would be Decapre the Bison Doll, so capcom can reuse Cammy's sprite and vega's claw. lol

    Damn, I was so predictable!

edit: I hope my transition from theory fightan to actual fightan is looking somewhat less than how sad it seems.

    o_O drop

LOL accidental super followed by accidental ultra. I have no idea.

Makoto doesn't simply lack a dp. she also lacks an aa normal LOL

Thanks Tenonez. I spent most of the rounds hitting the P button and shouting at my brother to not watch youtube videos, but I can't say I would have played any better were I not doing so.

I've tested that her best followup after Fukiage is Fukiage, EX Hayate, EX Tsurugi (so start with fukiage x2 in the corner).

Makoto has s.MK and cr.HK for aa. cr.HK is sloooow and neither has very many active frames

    Wait, DP DP exrushpunch exaxekick?

That sounds so hard to link D:

edit: the buttons I discovered after playing an "it got less and less humiliating" set with Tenonez was that st.mp can reliably AA divekicks and that backslap that haitani likes is useless in volt D:

edit2: run it back with makoto and go to chatzy pls

Decapre doesn't fit all the clues. I'm actually a fan of Linn Kurosawa since she makes the best sense to me. Harmageddon is an outside shot still

I don't promise that my combos are easy. Usually too hard to do consistently.

I'll be using this combo when I do my makoto combo vid, and this comment will be well and buried by then

I wonder if some other Ultras that trigger an animation also reset on trade in AE. That was awkward as **** though.

EDIT: Gen's crane U1 also resets.

Will add you in GFWL. I also use the same name there (VaroFN). Don't expect much from me though (much like in Volt anyway...).

Regarding Makoto, st.MK sucks as AA. Even while it's slower, cr.HK beats it to the punch, but it's still worse than most cr.HP in the game.

Well, you have to practice spacing and timing to use makoto's s.MK as an aa. I've been practicing using chun's far s.HK; it's no where as good as it is in AE. To me it seems the best aa normals have a bunch of active frames. I swear guile's s.MP has like 3 active frames in volt

But the spacing you need for st.MK is more or less the same you need for cr.HK, and cr.HK makes Makoto's hurtbox smaller (crouching attack) has a much better range, deals more damage and stun and (at least I think so) it has more active frames. I'd go as far as to say that st.MP is better AA than st.MK, at least against empty jumps. Has less range but more active frames. Against jumpins it either trades or wins, while st.MK will probably just whiff.

But anyway, the game's not about the normals. Except against some Guiles, most people just block or SRK jumpins. I've played many Ryus and Akumas, and like only three or four used Ryu's st.HK or Akuma's cr.HP. The rest just SRK.

Just sent you an invitation. But I'm at the uni anyway so it would lag a lot.

Oh, i don't think s.MK is a good aa, but it's an option that's there. The best aa normals in the game have a tonne of active frames. Jaw Crusher, which is one of the best aa normals in AE isn't very good in Volt.

Makoto's normals are probably the best in the game. In a game of pressing normals, she wins hands down. Guile would be second IMO

Good to see you still have time to see us after the wedding and everything.

TenOnez of course is whooping us. Some things never change.

And the only way to beat TenOnez is to break his iphone~ (I guess haha)
