the problem with that is 2x resets, all the setups i posted require only 1 reset

Edit: you can also go for demon flip kick instead of cr.mk

I imagine if they're in the corner, going for Akuma's divekick might be a better option (hitting high and all).

Good games Harle! My iPod finally died, lol. You get the Viper vs Yun match win because of it. I think I did pretty well against that gauntlet.

I was thinking about this today; an option for an akuma reset. tatsu, s.HP xx Hadouken (fireball, midscreen only), FADC, overhead

Pretty much. He gives you a glimpse of hope before crushing it completely.

I think I've taken... 2 or 3? games off TenOnez, most notably one in which I gimmicked him with Akuma's raging demon.

    Hi guys,

I just started playing with Chun Li.
Noob question here on doing a kintekishu -> tenkukyaku -> tenshokyaku
But how do you guys juggle the opponent during the -> + k , k , down up + k?
I don't get how you guys execute the part in bold.
I only managed to pull off the part in red.

If you hit the -> + k, jiggle the stick (the motion bit) up and down while continuously hitting k, and you'll get the pop up kick, and then Chun will jump into the air and spin for a 6 hit combo.

Sorry about the slight lag, HeartWong. I know it's making hitting the flash kicks hard.

And it's making my frame traps suck ass. >_>

Sorry dude, I'll play you when I have a better connection. I can't hit any links - to the point in which I don't even try to confirm for dmg (the uppercuts rather than trying to link normals lol)

    No problem! :)
We play next time when you have a better connection. :)
Thanks again for teaching me the 6 hit chun li kick combo.
By the way, how do you do the stomping with Chun Li?
I remember you were stomping on top of my guile in our first match.
    I check this thread later.
    Time to sleep.
    Good night :)

That's a bit harder, but it's actually the same idea.

So basically to stomp, you hit down+k, but you can do it instantly when you get into the air - it's called an instant overhead because it hits high. So when you're on the ground, waking up, if I jump towards and instantly hit down+k, then I'll hit you with the instant overhead, and it beats reversal flashkick - and hits you if you wait to autocorrect the flashkick by waiting. In order to block it, you have to stand, so that's part of Chun's knockdown game. It's really unsafe if it's blocked and actually isn't too safe on hit either, but it's very good if you wake up flash kick or backdash.
