Jesus, Luke! Well, good games and good luck. You'll be missed mate. ' I know you were in London but are you from somewhere in southeast Asia originally? I remember Nashberry telling me that where he lived, military service was mandatory and I thought he was from around where you were. I might be confused though. Either way.... Good luck bruv!
Oh, I thought it was you. Cammy using throw/DP mixup every time, and not only at wakeup. It must work very well there because he had more than 1000 BP. Or maybe he was just trolling because I just started playing the game
On another note, if you're looking for an easy way to get better at SF4, just play SF2. I know it might sound crazy, but things in SF2 are a lot less forgiving and like Sinatra said, "If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere." The Capcom Arcade app is a good place to get most of the SF2 games free (if you're not as familiar with them, Champion Edition and Hyper Fighting are amazing games to play to learn fighting game basics that will carry you through in most 2D fighting games by the way )
Without sounding cocky, I think I'm doing very well at the moment. I managed to beat some good Zangiefs there with Evil Ryu (main char for AE ATM, then I will try Makoto and Akuma), and that's without knowing powerful combos with the Ryosokyaku and such and just by using throw/DP/cross up (ground) tatsu mixups at wakeup and resets
So are you saying you can't get any better and that you could beat all of us here? ;-P After reading some of the old school SF scene thread on SRK today, I started playing Champion Edition and Hyper Fighting again and I realized that just because you can play SF4 doesn't mean that you can play those games, and by playing those games more, it'll probably make you better at SF4. But if you're comfortable with where you're at, then disregard any of this.... ;-P
lol No man, just saying that so far I'm happy with how I'm doing in AE. Of course there's plenty of room for improvement since I just started playing some days ago, it's not like I can beat everyone. And about SF2, Volt gives a better advantage
Lol I was just giving you shit, but I forgot to put the face in. Sorry of that sounded harsh. We'll have to play some AE too sometime. And yeah Volt gives you more of an advantage, but playing the older games where your execution had to be tight...
The black bars on the iphone 5 that led to input problems in games, the Vpad getting stuck.......has been fixed. Now the vpad extends all the way to the corners of the screen (vpad looks the same but your fingers can be placed there and the input direction follows you), goodbye missed inputs. No iphone 5 screen support yet. Im guessing a KOF like update soon.
It's just silly how they put "so much effort" into this update, and they haven't fixed the aesthetic and least important stuff. Seriosly, how hard is to change a string value?
No prob. With the execution so far I'm having some problems with canceling into a special move after some jabs and such and some things like getting Teleport instead of E. Ryu's Metsu Hadouken. And well, I played SFA3 Max on the PSP if that counts for something And sure, let's play some time. I hope it doesn't end as the pending KoF games My GFWL is VaroFN. I play Evil Ryu and I can do some things with my Volt mains (Akuma and Makoto), but I don't play them too often.
I'm confused. So the buttons can be moved into the black bars? The app says it's optimized for the iphone 5
I just tried the app and nothing has changed. Black bars are still there and I can't tap anywhere in those bars. I'm not sure how this got passed apple. I thought all games must have 4 inch support if the dev wanted to update? Am I missing something?
Gayyyyyyyyyyyyy Saw the update just now... knew if I came here you guys would have already tested. Got my hopes up. Lame ass capcom, just stop updating this game. Wasnt the last update we got a trailer for SFxT?? I guess waiting till March... April for SF4:U is what I shall do!
I don't really know how that works. Games like Phoenix Wright HD Trilogy without 4 inch support made it into the App Store.
