Yup... Cammy is such an easy character that I actually depended on her too much.. But back to Viper and Chun-li
I would love it if they gave Chun some of her changes from Ultra SF4. But, of course, that would require giving her half a dozen different moves and a different ultra, so I won't hold my breath.
Yeah, I've noticed, but not a standout move. If you know what I mean... Very useful, but other than that Chun is one of the weakest
Chun is one of the few characters that I forgive people for running away with. She has, I think, the best backdash in the game and she doesn't do much else... I do like her, she's fun, but definitely low tier
You can use the stand punch, low strong kick or thousand kicks, or instant air grab or low punch as AA. Chun players should be happy to even trade the hit. She's not too bad. You have to mix it up real well to win though.
I agree, that she is all about mixups. But all her mixups are just really bad frame traps and you hope thy don't mash srk. But for her aa's, none of those are really notable, apart from Air Grab and cr.RH. Saying you can anti-air someone with her cr.MP is like saying I can anti-air someone with Guile's Target Combo
wait, you think Dhalsim has more offense and mix ups than Yun!?!? tell me you have played against TenYunz before making that statement!
everyone has priviledge to play with tenonez balrog. Except me. Last time i play him was last year and he destroy me completely. I hope i would have chance to play with him again. The best player at SF4 volt. Kevin 3 chord, if u see this hope u message me at lineapp. Thanks buddy..
We've all been playing tenyunz for a few weeks now, even I started playing yun for a while. Im not saying yun has less mix ups than sim, but sim definetly is easier to use. Considering you dont need extreme links like yun. I win more games with sim than with yun. I think out of all the characters i use yun has my worst ratio of w/L
you don't need to do crazy links to win with Yun, simple command grab into upkicks would be enough to open up opponents for damage especially under a laggy condition. crLK into target combo into any SP = easy BnB. The only technically hard thing about Yun is to get the right timing + angle on the wake up dive-kick that would avoid reversal SRKs... Once you master that you'll be dominating after just 1 knock-down! If I include all the RQ matches that I should have won, then I would probably have a 80% win rate or higher. (71% as shown in the current card data) and of course when you're familiar with the links + footsies, with a bit of reaction, then you won't be far away from TenYunz's crazy win/lose ratio (my footsie sucks, or maybe TenOnez is just simply too good) Sim definitely is easier to use than Yun considering that Sim doesn't need much ex moves and just need to poke 90% of the time, but is he really easier to win? I don't think so, coz of his terrible wake up options... Excluding the risk of wasting his entire super bar, his only viable wake up invinc option = teleport or backdash, which is extremely predictable at situations. One hard knockdown and he is pretty much over (luckily, most of the Volt online players don't know how to put on the offense to catch Sim) Capt you can do well in AE which is automatically assists off, mastering Yun should be a piece-of-cake for you!!!
following my previous post, I was just curious that which character do we think is the hardest to master? And also, which character is the hardest to win? Personally I think Viper is the hardest character to master in terms of execution, If I ought to count the number of Vipers who can constantly land the FFF combo, I am sorry to announce that I only need 1 hand... However she doesn't need all those flashy stuff to win, simple throw/ Burn Kick shenanigans would probably get you enough wins to be at 2k or 3k BP Character hardest to get a win would probably be Sakura or Cody, one requires heavy timing to deal damage and the other is really hard to catch lamers due to poor mobility, plus they both have to burn meter for an invincible wake up... Sadly I love both characters coz they have interesting combos but they have a real tough time on the US server, those freakin' lags... Did I forget about Makoto? No, I think Makoto has a slightly better time than the above two coz of her dangerous command grab into ultra for easy comeback, with an insane forward dash.
