I think they were kidding, but I can't wait for the squall replay. I must know how he was able to 2-0 and then lose! I think squall is our only hope.
People know that the only reason why 3-Chord gets pretty far in the tourney is because I can't take part of it Well, I'd say rage quitting is not every kind of quitting. Having the intention of quitting if the result is bad for you before starting the match is only being a quitter. On the other hand, when you play with someone in a long set and you are winning almost every single time, they usually start to build frustration and/or salt, so if they quit on the KO/quit because they missed a big punish, that can be considered a rage quit, because it's the result of not controlling any of the negative feelings that you develop during the set. So, IMO, the first is way worse than the second because that one creates a habit that totally depends on you, while the second is a based on emotions that can't be totally controlled. Who hasn't been salty after a bad day playing a game? The only thing you can do (and it might be a hard work) is to how deal with those emotions without doing things that harm the game. Because we're gonna be salty at some point, no matter what.
I just did a 33 game set with TenOnez...got 3 wins with like 3 others where I was actually close. The Yun and Rog are godly...I couldn't get a single match vs Rog and I tried Abel, Cody, Gief, and Sim. Funny first game he was using DeeJay, so I got a quick win out of that. I beat his Yun with Cody and Fei with Gief.
Your cards say that it's on A lot of people try and tell me they play with it on but they block manually...uh no. I used to play with auto block on and there are hits, now, that connect that would have been blocked if auto block was on. Even if you know how to block manually, with auto block you don't have the reaction issue or where sometimes your block isn't registered, with auto block you don't have that issue.
I can confirm 3chord has Autoblock off. In our lag test yesterday he was standing there and taking hits
Where on the cards does it say that autoblock is on? Can you take a picture, because I have no idea where you're looking. I'll tell you right now, I've been playing SF mobile since Vanilla, and I've never once played with autoblock on. (Except, according to my GC, for the 15 matches required for the achievement, which I don't even remember happening.) Even SP on was a new thing for me a few months ago.
I thought I'd make a quick video, just testing some stuff It's on private because it's just a treat for people who check TA! (I also might want to use it later)
Sorry 3-chord, I was generalizing. I haven't played you in a while so I don't remember your card. The second to last time I played tenonez he had autoblock on, he didn't have the manual blocking achievement and he had well over 3000 matches. The last time we played he had a full card so I couldn't tell. The point is that many people play with auto block on even those that say they don't. The only way to know for sure is to test it during a pre match/lag test.
Last time I played Tenonez he was autoblock on. But I'm fine with it, coz it's everyone choice to do whatever he feels comfortable with. I play autoblock off and SP on but don't ask people to change the setups. To check if someone has autoblock on, just go near to your opponent (with a small distance between you and your opponent) and start mashing cr. Lk or Lp. There you would know if it's on or off.
I play every match with Autoblock off, with the exception of the 10 times I had it on to get the achievement long ago. I have SP on though. Anytime I block, it's because I'm manually blocking what's being thrown at me. I've been messing around with Sakura lately tho. Trying to learn someone new.
