Cool setup, but like the EX Oroshi one you also have to delay it 1f.

Expanding on J6U's attempt to do a bison reset, here's what I came up with:
FA 3, cr. MP/cr.LK/st.HP (reset) xx (EX) headstomp (corner).

Hold the headstomp towards the corner. You can't get hit by reversals that move forward and they can't move back go avoid the headstomp.

    Want more style?

FA 3, cr.HP, FADC, ex headstomp achieves the same thing at the low price of 2 additional meter!

@varoFN: try this in the corner.. this one has no gaps.

post cHP > cHK > oroshi (meaty)

follow up with cMP - EX Hayate and so on..

    Wow cool setup.
For meaty Oroshi at midscreen I found this one: cr.HP, st.MP, dash, Oroshi. No gaps either :D

Is that a true meaty stomp? The fadc one? Can opponent forward dash out of it? The ones i did on training room were corner fa 3, cr.lk/cr.mp cancelled into the ex headstomp.

The meatiness of it depends on the normal, whether you cancel it or link it and whether you use EX or normal. Most of the time, it seems the setup is safe against any reversal that isn't Fei's. For Fei, you will just trade if the headstomp is early but if you do it late, you will be safe.

I will point out that a blocked EX headstomp does some ridiculous 55 damage and that jumping k right after a landed EX Headstomp is a meaty jump in (about 2frames away from being safe). But you can make yourself land far away to make your jump in safe (in terms of distance).

Outside of awkward charging shenanigans, you won't have time to charge ultra if you bait their reversal. However, I do like throwing them back into the corner and doing the cr.MP safe jump.

Doing normal, FADC, Headstomp makes the move really late. Which I assume, makes it easier to dash forward out of (depending on the character).

It seems like from the animation that doing, for example, cr.MP xx EX Headstomp hits them pretty much as soon as they recover

Lol! Even in the vid he says just to sit back and let your opponent kill themselves, that's the definition of lame.
Have fun? While holding down+back? F that guy! Scrub!

I love that feeling though, when you're playing a guy that only walks back and you have a life lead. Then you start walking back and watching them realise that they are running the clock down.

Anyway, would anyone be interested if I did an intro vid explaining what resets are and showing some examples? I feel like people don't really understand it

DeeJay is awkward. His forward dash isn't good enough to dash under. And the st.HP CH is so rare that it's hard to setup anything from that anyway.

You'll have to do a FA 3, then j. p/k/dk for a reset and hope you can try them. But the damage payoff is pretty bad considering FA 3, EX MGU, Jackknife does some pretty good damage for 1 bar (not to mention that only works on 9/22 cast members).

What are the standard resets people are trying to pull online these days? Anyone got some common ones I could analyse for the vid?

most common reset i can think of is yun's palm - crouch punch in the corner and the cl.MK - divekick..

Vega has simple resets following his cosmic heel. Lotta different options for the follow up, including doing nothing, so it really becomes a guessing game for the opponent.

    Cosmic heel > cr.lp > throw
    Cosmic heel > cr.lp > jump > j.k > st.hp > cr.mp xx ex Barcelona
Cosmic heel > cr.lp > ex sky high claw from behind
    And my personal favorite:
Cosmic heel > cr.lp > cosmic heel > scarlet terror

When I'm playing noobs, I sometimes try to go for the double reset, but so far I've only gotten it to work once. Usually they catch on after the second one and my follow-up gets blocked.

    Cosmic heel > cr.lp > cosmic heel > cr.lp > any of the above.

If you watch that part again, its an honda player with meter. Sakura is rushing in mindlessly instead of baiting the ex heabutt.
