I think it's Viper's st.HK for me, with that pseudo knockdown (looks like a hard knockdown but it's not). Stay down! But I can rarely do that except against scrubs. and Zangief. (incidentally, I actually need it against Zangief.) Oh, and also, st.HK after a whiffed Ken/Sagat Ultra, because st.HK will whiff over their crouched body and make them think they have a chance to counterattack.
You can do the same for normal kikoken charge then down+forward punch (hold punch) then forward release punch. Crouch high punch, fast kicks or ex fast kicks also works.
Ive played some people that dont do anything on the first round until their life is almost gone, and then they try to do a comeback. But of course i never give them a chance . Its just like those LINE players and BN dudes. They play vs some noob and bait all day trying to land just one combo to publish it. Example doing FA all day until they finally catch you to do the combo. The replay is so meaningless except for that moment where they did the combo.
Thank you, this will definitely help my pressure! I need to watch your replays. I saw one where you did dash ultra against a Vipers burn kick and it autocorrected which was awesome.
Makoto combo: FA 3, Fukiage, Tsurugi, EX Tsurugi (corner) can anyone get the 2 hits of the EX Tsurugi?
I can't even get one hit of the ex tsurgi... Nevermind.. I just got two hits against Sakura. I did dash after the focus attack and whiffed a neutral j.p then did the fukiage ect
Could someone please tell me what are the correct repetitions of Balrog's ultra (comboed from buffalo head) in corner, close-to-corner and away-from-corner setups? I used to do K, No, K, K but I'm not sure the damage is always maximized. Also, any "mnemonic" trick to avoid going under the opponent when is launched too high? Seeing PR Balrog's recent perfomances revived my love for the character.
press Kick/SP, release, Kick/SP Hold for max damage after bufallo headbutt. They changed the hitbox so now you can link the full ultra by just holding it but its less damage no matter where you are on the screen.
That is correct for a ground Headbutt. I think, for aa ones, you have to practice more by yourself to get the feel for it, due to the higher number of variables
Yo Xion GGs bro. That first cammy vs guile match were i thought i had won jumping over your boom to punish and you canceled it into super for the win, freaking epic. Those back to back sakura vs abel matches were one round i would destroy you and next round you perfect me . What you think of my chun though ? That last round chun vs akuma it was like i was reading your mind. I think at end you got a call or something but GGs. You take care eh. Kick that uni masters ass.
Hahaha! I'm gonna make a conscience effort not to, gaming is the butt of all my life failures, I do need to stop being so hard core and remove my "I must be the best at this game" attitude. Ultra SF4 is gonna have to go on without moi This made me lmao!! XD Dude, if things go tits up here in England I'll come open up an SF-themed smoothie restaurant in Alaska!! Wooooh!! We're friends on FB so we'll be in touch. Whatever, that's the kinda shit that keeps you coming back to TA hahaha! XD You joker Kev! XD This forum will need you when I'm gone, Harle's jokes will dry our souls to death! Yeah man, I'm available until 8th August, after that I'm going to San Diego for holiday and will be too busy after!! That is, like, EVERY "Special combo rep" in the history of LINE & BN!!! By the way, great set earlier!! So many awesome moments!! I always enjoy playing ya Capt!! :-D :-D Sorry for leaving, my wife called me!! :-( Yeah you got the first one, there's another: Nothing, nothing, hold K - this one is used in AE in Boxer mirrors (corner) to prevent you from going under and missing opponent. With super just hold K.
Hahaha thank you dude!! That was an awesome set!!! Nearly had you there with Abel Your Chun is BEASTLY!! Seriously, I can't remember the last time anyone would consistently whoop me with her!! Yeah I did get a call from wifey, sorry! You guys gotta check out our reps!
Chun is such a hard character to use, so I have a lot of respect for chun players. How do you play her? Lame? Rush down? Bait? What's your strategy against jump back + fireball akumas?
Play it safe. I keep fa dashing in when i can, sometimes i use fa dash, kikoken to keep going in. Empty Jump from wall is safe 80% of the time vs fireballs. When they are in corner i keep a distance, not to close or far to bait the teleports and i keep them in corner with neutral jump kick. Neutral jump kick must be done a bit early to kill their demon flips. EX kikoken the 3 hit akuma fireball then fa dash in. Wall jump, stand high kick will reach if they cornered or if they try to fireball when you land. The famous FA dash into ultra punish his fireballs. Her walk speed is pretty good sometimes you can go under akuma's jump fireballs and punish. When i get knocked down there isnt much to do but block, ex sbk or back dash. If you get a FA crumple punish big dont go for resets or stuff he already has low HP. I only play the mixup game when i get a hard knockdown on akuma or he is in corner. If you have the life lead, let him chase you. Back dash, sweep to punish his jump ins, demon flips. Use kikoken on at mid far screen range any further or closer is not good. You can hazanshu over close up red fireballs but the other one recovers too fast and you can get FA crumpled, if you find yourself in this situation try to fa dash back if you have meter.
drop the second K will be the maximized damage, on normal height. when opponent is launched too high I tend to wait for a bit, then do all Kicks for the ultra. I haven't tested if this hits max damage but the last blow of the ultra would hit, allow normal timing set ups after the ultra. you don't need PR Rog to re-love this character, in Volts we already have TenOnez to show you everything
