I'm telling you though - the Kara stuff whiffs a helluva lot more in volt. You have to take that into account. And it has a slight start-up time for the initial input. It's situationally good - not a panacea. It's not like the cards are all stacked in saggy's fav, either - he's got a slow dash, his hitbox is enormous, his focus attack has garbage range and doesn't hit sliders. His fireballs are great but the recovery still isn't good enough to prevent jump-ins from less than max range. He gets torn up by vipers, blankas, bisons who know how to abuse the head-stomp-fake-to-crusher frame mechanics and, believe it or not, if gief does his air punch he can trade favorably with Sagat. Yes. I'm saying an amazing gief can take on an amazing Sagat.
i think so ... most probably due to only 1 version of dive kick available and that took out some surprise moves that can be done in AE
One more question, do you use autoblock? Trying to learn SP assist playing now so might as well use that too.
I don't really see that it would provide me any advantages - if I'm not attacking, I'm either buffering an attack while blocking, or just straight-up blocking, or too far away on the screen to be instantly hit. Auto-block, if anything, should be used on top of your normal blocking routine. I maybe use it one out of every 15 games or so and I don't ever really get to a moment where I think "oh man, auto block would have been awesome there"
Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel my C.Viper vs Ryu...waiting,crouching,hadoken,shoryuken etc...so i had to follow his style to win...lol advice, critics? and no audio because i dunno how to record audio...sorry
wow, these kara moves are very easy to do with Sagat and sp assist, fk and just slide finger fast to sp and you get you uppercut, knee is a bit harder but still quite easy, at least in the training room. i switched to sagat again and played some friendlies and see why i main bison now, because of laggy akumas and other sagats.
I put yun so low for a few reasons. Ok, here we go. No standing medium punch. No light lunge punch so no combo after ex lunge. One type of divekick. No hard ir medium shoulder so no punishing midscreen fireballs. Tricky excecution on touch screen. No meaty attacks so no meaty palm. Other things too, i forget, as well as all his console weaknesses (low damage, health, stun. horrible throw damage). I wrote all this a while back. But yea, hes bad
why the random ultras? as a viper player you should learn jumping punch-low hard punch- ex seismo- in air burning kick- ultra. i dunno, the whole match just seemed a bit slow. more like you were just punishing his mistakes instead of doing mixups like you should with viper. but definitley go to training room and learn the combos.
the best part is ryu's random ultra, followed by the same random vipers ultra, but that's probably because yyhakusho wanted to be nice to his opponent. however this setup into ultra is quite hard, especially online.
I don't think it was a random ultra - I think Ryu was trying to anticipate a hammer and punish it. ..Only, it never came.
i will have to try it again then >_< p/s: my bad...I always thought the super jump means super jump cancel...it has to be hold until Viper jumping forward ...not like super jump cancel with seismo hammer
you're right I made a mistake ... and I admit it was stupid ... I can not do it punch-low hard punch -ex seismo or jump/high jump with hard punch-burning kick because he's waiting for me to jump in and beat me with his shoryuken...his just waiting me to come forward and spam with fire ball and he expect me to jump...
the low hard punch to seismo hammer stuff is like this u hold downforward to do low hard punch then u move back to down and downforward again and press P to complete the seismo hammer no need to do low hard punch then do another Z
in the last update it looks like some ai's are improved on grueling mode, a lot using of fadc, fa and so on, or it just seems so?
