I know. I played hundreds of Akumas and it's like only 2 or 3 played rushdown. But well, I already know how to counter them with the characters I main and "main", so no problem. Those players get mad when they lose against my Akuma and RQ. I think that only some players actually like mirror matches. Makotos mirrors are really fun, and so far no RQ. It's like tell me your character and I will tell you how you behave And because her SRK isn't that great I hate losing because of a mashed SRK after a reset or just random. I'm sure those ratios are hacked. No way those lame players win that many matches. If everyone only throws FBs and teleports, then it's a matter of time that someone finds a way to counter that... "strategy". I don't know much the Vega-Blanka match up because... well, I don't know how to play him xD But with Akuma waiting (because they ALWAYS start by using a special or slide) and then punish works, because then they will start spamming j.P and cr.LK without even charging and that's easily anticipated by air attacks. They are still annoying as hell though.
Beating the crap out of their Akumas on the first match and then using it to teach the guys some combos is pretty insulting. And I like to do it. I find Akuma-Blanka in Blanka's favor, he can counter lame gameplay and surpass Akuma on the offensive.

Some of them even teleport in corner. Sometimes I also teleport under corner pressure when I don't know what to do, but damn, in one single round I even saw a guy teleporting after getting him on corner and punishing him with SRK. About Akuma-Blanka, yes, it's in Blanka's favor. Using Shanuketsu it's a suicide, and FBs are also very risky, both on wake up or just randomly.
Last time we played a long set, we split 5-5. You basically went on line and told everyone you beat me 5-0... I don't really care but you have to understand if i don't wanna play with you.

But, she has safe options in offense, via burning kick and thunder knuckle. But yeah, she's pretty glass cannon.

@HarlequinRogue The glass cannons are sorta odd at times though. Like in LoL, glass cannons like Master Yi. XD If you make mistake, you get punished. Well, actually, I think you can get punished by anything you do. In SF, people like C.Viper have safe moves, Akuma has Air Fireball too, while like for example freaking Rose has nothing. Maybe a fireball. Rose - Abel without extra health, and throws. Her reflects sucks, and her fireballs will take the entire game to charge. You can throw out more max charge turn punch into supers with Balrog, then throw one fireball with Rose.
You can't spam that low dive kick with sp assist. It's a one third circle upward. If you mess us, you jump back. People that can hit you with that mve multiple times are doing the full move on you without sp assist. Not a spam in my book.
It's not spam in the traditional sense but it's something people do when playing lame, which was my point-every character has a move that people spam (as in use a lot) while waiting for an opponent to attack.
I'd say my Akuma is pretty enjoyable to play...I try to stay forward and make the most of his demon flip moves. I agree with Harle about the 'Akuma syndrome' = protect my health and run away quickly!! Oh right I thought you meant spamming it offensively. Yeah like apprunner said you cant do instant divekicks with SP, have to a qcb and then ub+k. Which shouldn't actually work but does for some reason. But yeah I see your point about playing lame. Still disagree that it's not 'real fighting' though.
