I'm thinking create a "Salty Messages" or "Rage Quitting Replays" section on the website, is that too offensive?
Hellz yeah there should be one of these sections!! :-D @Harle: We really should rally together and protest for an update!!
Good idea, I can collect all your guys' autograph and post on the website, then show CAPCOM how serious we are about the update. EDIT: and maybe youtube videos
Abel stand high punch, fadc, crouch low punch Playing around i also found honda can link his meaty stand high punch to stand high kick or crouch low kick if close enough (not an fadc combo though)
Random setups: Sakura: Corner throw, backdash, lvl 1 fireball, walk forward st p. It's a frame trap on block and a combo on hit. Cammy: Sweep or throw, empty jump forward, cr hp. It's a meaty cr.hp that can be combo'd into ultra on CH.
I have some RQ replays uploaded and some others with people tea bagging and such. Anyway, yeah, +1 here for that petition, but it will be useless, I'm telling ya. I don't think they are so stupid that they don't take a look here, the biggest thread of the whole site that's about their game, at least once in a while. I already sent them thoooouuuusand of messages to the same email the guy at SFxTK thread emailed not so long ago, without reply, and also a tuit to Ono. Of course, no reply either. They also know the number of players on their servers and such, and they already know that Volt has a huge community that wants some love from them. Whatever, as long as I can also talk about SFxTK on that petition, count on me
I know, I know xD I think I only had one salty message in Volt and two in SFxTK, but LOTS of RQ replays.
i've had one in SFxT. I must have near a hundred in Volt Its cause you probably play with some skill while i just mash buttons. Its sad and frustrating to lose to me so they rage through messages
Viper Crouch High Punch cancel into super jump, burn kick (diagonal jump only) is a link without ch when no meter this is prefect for setting the opponent on the ground so jump high punch, crouch high punch, super jump, burn kick way better than mid thunder knuckle but harder to input i have to test this with FFF. EDIT: works with FFF NEW best meterless combo for viper
Yeah, I saw some of them, there's one replay I noticed that the other player's nick is Japanese character but you said he's Chinese. Sometimes hard to tell. We gonna send you to Japan and kidnap the volt project manager kidding, if your guys can figure out a way to reach volt team member, we can start collecting petition. EDIT: maybe Jap server has more connection with CAPCOM? just curious
I know I'm late to the party, but I wanted to add my two cents. In my experience there are way more people playing Sp On/Autoblock OFF than people playing ON/ON, even amongst noobs. Vega's Barcelona slash and cross up Claw make it really easy to tell whether someone has Autoblock on or not, because they're able to stand still and block 100% from either side, which not even S rank players can do. I've met more people, of all skills, with Autoblock off than I have with Autoblock on. Though, that being said, I've only met a HANDFUL of players who play SP off. And I'm pretty sure it's because most people view SP and Autoblock the same way I do, which is that Autoblock is a handicap, and SP is simply an aide. They are not equal, Autoblock is a much more noobish thing to choose than SP is. If I was going to speculate, I would say there are very few people playing Volt who have no prior knowledge of Street Fighter or fighting games. Most people aren't going to put down the money for the iPhone version of street fighter unless they already know the series or like fighting games to begin with, and that means everyone who is coming into this game already sees Autoblock as a handicap. It's a dishonorable thing, it's basically cheating. The people who are turning it on are the ones who either don't care, who just want to have a chance while they get some practice, or who are trolls that care more about winning/messing with people than actually acquiring skill. And even though the troll and RQer number is so huge in this game, even amongst those people, Autoblock on is still a minority. SP is that thing where, it seems like a handicap at first, but the Volt culture has decided that it is not, simply by making it standard for most players. If the majority of players said "No way am I playing SP on," then the few people who used it would be looked down upon. But since the majority of people use SP (and let's face it, for a lot of characters and combos it's pretty necessary), it's treated as an expected aide, something that allows everyone the chance to be better than they usually would be. And the ones who play SP off are still revered, because they got their skill without the help of any aide, but the ones who have it on are treated pretty normally. Even *I* needed to turn SP on to play with my non-charge characters. I can't use the touchpad the way I use a joystick, so charge characters are the only SP off option for me. Which means if I wanna use Ryu, I would rather use the aide and actually put up a tough fight against my equally skilled friends than suck, lose, and be frustrated every time I try to do a srk > FADC > hadoken manually. And finally, even though SP on makes combos 5 times easier, there's still some skill required for them. Correct timing, correct input, and knowledge of the moves is still needed, though in a dumbed down form. But at least there's something there, something that not everyone can do. But Autoblock on? #### that up its ass. I'll quit the game before I turn that on. That's not an aide. It doesn't still require skill. It's a pure handicap. And I think most people on volt view it the same way.
I know people here already know this, but whatever. After Yun's palm at corner, you can follow with a sweep, and then more mixup game with palm or dive kick. This character is even more OP than Gief at wake up Love it
Yun's pressure game is one of his few strength, but no way he is more OP than Gief... Sweep gives u a good hard knockdown, but it is not his only option. Palm at the corner can lead to some very cool combos, u can do crMP for a reset or up-kicks for damage. Can even to palm, ex up-kicks, ex shoulder. if your timing is good on meaty palm, u can do double palm into lunge for like, 400 damage without spending any meter, but that timing is really strict. Most of the time I would go for meaty palm, shoulder, lunge for a neat meterless combo... good damage still and is much easier to time
