So don't uppercut on wakeup. It's a 50-50 whether he does sweep or spd after knockdown, but spd is obviously much worse, so you can usually just backdash. If you get a knockdown on gief it's really bad for him. Can't really deal with meaty palms.

It's just a footsies match until somebody gets a knockdown. And yun has better jump in and anti air options. Only like 5.5-4.5 to gief because of the damage imo.

Edit: You can't just backdash all day. If the gief player is half good he'll see what you're doing and start sweeping, so then you can maybe uppercut. Gief has a good mixup game, but it's not unbeatable.

But then you have the same mixup on him. If you get a knockdown into a meaty palm setup (after upkicks or a throw or basically anything) then he's in just as much trouble. Meaty palm beats everything except block, and fake palm-command grab (which gives great damage and can lead into super or meterless ultra) beats block.

I'm pretty sure that palm can be beaten by command grab if you're close enough (like after upkicks + tech). Lariat beat Yun's dive kick and he's forced to use jump P (which can't beat Lariat all times).

Nope, meaty palm beats command grab, and you can combo a lunge punch after it.

Yeah, obviously you can't just jump in for free, but neither can gief, he just gets uppercutted. And like you said, sometimes jump p does beat lariat and yun gets a free combo.

The thing with Yun vs. Gief is that Yun can't do risky stuff (like jump P) because Gief can hurt him pretty hard. Yun has low stamina so he can't afford certain things. Gief just needs one mistake to turn the tables on his favor and if they just sit down it's nearly impossible to approach him without getting knocked down by a Lariat or a random stuff.

I think Yun is too fragile for Gief and viceversa, add some of the things that I've said and you get a really bad match up (for Yun).

    Long time no see all,

Been busy for past few months and caused my youtube channel not updating. As my partner is inactive as well.

Therefore to keep it alive~ I need people at least 2 - 3 to man it together with me~

It is quite tedious to search, watch, and upload those replays. So I be appreciate with there are people keen.

Anyway Jailbroken is need, as you will need the display recorder from Cydia.

Interested party do PM me, we will discuss on this. :)

    Gief's Lariat > Meaty Palm

Gief's Throw over anything palm related.

Mistake x4 = GG for Yun

Mistake xtoomuch = Nice try against Gief.
