Hey, Frames Advantage is signed up? Frames are you still here? I really wanted to invite you to our Line chats after those games we played last week, I really loved your Gief there.
From what I have gathered he only plays on weekends and rarely responds to anything. He must be active in DD's secret hideout though

Nope, I not signing up. Gonna be busy and can't commit the time. ha And yea, Harle is right. Frames only able to play on weekends. He don't visit here.
Damn! Well, next time I send you an invitation I'll be requesting Makoto mirrors, so get ready for that!
Hahahahahaha don't start me Chord XD You all know I love to stick my head into arguments on this forum x-P I'm sure No.1 Bison Psxsquall, ex-no.1 Guile & player-now Mexican whore (that guy who's organising the tourney, forgot his/her/it's name) and Death metal-Beiber hater Shane don't need my help
I definitely knew about WOTRD doing more damage. But as far as planning goes, why wouldn't you just do your most damaging combo? If you've stunned them, chances are that would either take them out or put them so close to the end that it wouldn't take long to finish them off. I understand positioning and all but why not just go for it? How does doing the FA help your timing? Me no undastaahhhhhnddd...! Since they're already stunned though, why wouldn't you just go for the raw combo without the FA in front of it? You'd likely get more damage than you would with the FA though not as much as with a flyin attack. I can understand a Focus Cancel in the middle of a combo, but to hit them with a FA3 right off when they've just been stunned? Like I said to Harle, I can understand using it to facilitate a reset, or push them into the corner, but if the point of the game is to do the most damage possible, and most of the time the FA kills your damage output via scaling, why do people do it after a stun? Seems redundant to me. (though I think you're dead on it with #4 mate!)
There is no worse feeling I can recall than the feeling of being reset by a Yun command grab! >x-( Dude, are you going Taiwan anytime this summer or staying in London? That "Hahahaha" belted out with the grace of Nashville's best country rockstar! :-D when am I gonna get owned by your beastly Oni again? I'm back in London next Sunday, if you're free lets hang out!
To answer this, I'll simply repeat my #1 and #2. Vega's jump combos are more tricky to land, so there's s higher chance that I can mess up, especially if there's lag. FA 3 combo does NEARLY as much damage, and it's much easier to pull off, so I'd usually rather go for that guaranteed hit than risk dropping my links. Also, getting a good setup after stun, or getting a reset in the middle of it, is much more valuable than the little extra damage the jump combo will do. The jump combo might get me 25 extra damage, but a good setup or reset opportunity is worth much more POTENTIAL damage, so it's usually the smarter choice in the end. Since it's really easy for me to get a good setup or reset from the FA3 combo, that combo is usually the safer, smarter choice for me.
Love it! xD I've missed our Skype/AE sessions and I'm actually just getting home from 2 months on the road and I'll definitely have some free time next week! I definitely understand where you're coming from on the 2nd paragraph. But as far as the first goes, what combo are you talking about? Maybe I didn't explain it right, but if you were just going to do a standard combo when they're stunned, why would increase the amount of scaling your hits incur by doing a FA3?
Vega's usual combo after FA3 is cosmic heel > scarlet terror. This combo does more with the FA3 hit than it would otherwise, even with scaling. It's also his best reset opportunity, by doing cosmic heel > cr.lp > whatever you want to follow up with. The combos that would do more without FA are the ones with more hits. For those ones you would replace the FA3 with a j.k, and they would do more damage, but those ones are harder to pull off. So usually the safest bet is to go with the scarlet terror combo, which always does more damage by including the FA3.
Hi guys, noob question for you. I recently came back to volt as a late night alternative to COD. Thing is, I met this guy with a very enjoyable playstyle one night and I would like to friend him/her, but the name is Korean and I can't spell it. How do I do it? Plus, you often mention things like "posting on somebody profile on gamecenter" or something like that. I wandered around my gamecenter app but it doesn't seem to do anything cool or useful, except for telling me who just played. Anything I should know? My Blanka turned into sxit, but my Ryu and Rog kinda improved with the months or retirement, so I hope to see some of you online.
Fo sho bro! Two months on the road!?!? Big pimpin :-O Can't wait to hear about these stories :-D My stories arn't that awesome this time...but my summer plans are pretty dope. Skype/AE ftw! Wooooh!
Ahhhh I gotcha. I don't really know Vega as well as some of the other characters and I suppose his hits don't do as much damage so you have to pile on what you can, yeah? In the GameCenter app go to GAMES>SF4Volt>PLAYERS and you should find him there. Yeah bruv, I'll fill you in on all of it, and I wanna Hear what you've been up to too! And we'll have to play some rusty-ass AE for the laughs! xD
If it's a name I can't type, I might go search through BN, searching by BP or searching a partial character in the name if you can get it (search online and copy paste character). In the Volt ap, go to "Team Ranking Battle." This sends you to BN or "Battle Network"
