Is that a PSP emulator? Man, I'd love to have Dracula X Chronicles on my iPhone but the PC version of jpcsp doesn't really even run it well. How long have they been working on it? I think if they actually DID do it, they might do a pretty good job of it because it's a legacy game and it's a game people give a shit about. The ports of SF2 were good and SF is a lot better suited to iOS than Marvel. All things considered the MvC2 port was pretty decent considering it's compatible with legacy devices. The controls were what really held it back. You miss out on a lot only having the 4 button setup but 6 is too hard to configure onscreen. And speaking of legacy devices, the fact that most people are playing their games on older iPods and IPhones is probably why they haven't made any moves towards widescreen. Once more people start playing on widescreen devices you'll see them offer it up. Actually, the extra screen real-estate on the 5 would be perfect for 6-button games. That way you could have the screen in the older format but move the buttons out to the side so your thumbs aren't in the way of the action. On another note, one thing I've never understood about this game that I see a lot online (some people here even do it) is when someone stuns an opponent, and then hits them with a FA before hitting them with a combo. The FA just kills your damage scaling or am I missing something? The way damage scaling works in this game, it's advantageous to use less hits, so why the FA?
It's only a few months old, but it seems that it has way better performance than jpcsp at this stage of development. Right now they are working on compatibility and sounc/video support, since the tools that jpcsp uses are copyrighted, thus leaving optimization for later versions. The project is opensource. Just less than a month ago God Eater Burst was crashing at loading, and now is playable. Today iCade support was added to master build, so no problem with fighting games. Too bad that I don't have one. I have to wait for Wii's Classic Controller support
Wow! Nice! It's funny because I've had much better luck running Rondo of Blood and such on my iPhone and PSP. I haven't ever been able to get it to work on my PC for some reason. I mean I'd almost rather have thr stuff on my phone anyway especially of there's some sort of external controller support.
Most of the time yes. Most notably though, FA 3, Wrath of the Raging Demon does more damage than without the FA 3. (That's just raw, no stun, not sure about afterwards.) I assume that would also be true for Dhalsim. I use FA 3 after stun for 2 reasons. I do it for spacing/planning what combo to do next. Or I do it just for the airborne juggle state.
lawl... dat rage. Must've felt really awkward when he found out that slrc was correcting Shane that he's in iteam and not shadow valley... 95% of the time, FA3 will end up destroying the damage output. If the stun happens like 5-6 hits into the combo, then using FA3 will not make a huge difference in the end. I use it b/c my timing for jump in attacks to a cr.hp is garbage haha.
1. I never said that "iTeam is garabage". I said it's hard not to see a whole team sometimes IN GENERAL. You can talk either about how talented are, say, Aztec Force players or about how that team became a RQ nest. Talking about individual players is the best (referring to all teams) but that doesn't happen all the time. 2. Don't talk like if I belong to that team, because you know that I don't. I dislike most of them and that's why I reject to join them again. C'mon, you know that! 3. I don't even know all of your team mates, and I'm sure I haven't played all of them, too. You could ask around here if some of your teammates have RQed before, but I can't assure if some of them have done that. 4. Can I give you a piece of advice? Try not to read the posts with passion, but with common sense. I hate misunderstandings and I REALLY hate to give explanations that I don't have to do.
It can be advantageous for a couple reasons. 1) The FA combo might be easier and safer than trying to go for a jump combo, while not doing significantly less damage. (Definitely true for vega) 2) It could be easier to lead into a good reset/set up option. So you have the potential to start a whole other combo much better. 3) For some characters, their FA combos are actually their highest damage combos, so if the scaling wasn't really low already, you'd be doing more damage with the FA. 4) Because they see other people doing it, and think that they have to. ^_^ Any others guys? I usually use it because it's easier. Vega has some jump combos that do more damage than FA, but it's harder to get the timing right, and so if I mess them up, I'm in danger. FA combos are very safe and I can make sure I get a good reset or setup from them.

Oh Shane, y u so pissed about the whole team? I mean to call people garbage doesn't brings out any superiority of yourself in any case. Rest assured we know it is only u as an individual whom will make such comments and not the entire TA. Me too am a noob in volt, people knows me becos of my noobiness in volt. But like what Harle and SLRC mentioned, it goes downs to individual most of the time. I may be the lousiest players with no skills and stuff but I treat people with respect. If there are any members whom shown much disrespect, then numbers won't lie?? If 1 or 2 does that to u it is coincidence. If like u claimed 50%, y dun u make some self reflections of yourself? Is it always other people's fault? In any case, rest assured we won't view TA as a whole for making such unnecessary comments but you as in individual. I guess it depends of characters and context. FA can be good to start a finisher combo and could be safer than other options if you make the stun with the less hits possible. Otherwise, you can go for a normal combo without FA. Against opponents with decent stamina left I guess both options are even. For Guile, FA is an ok option after a stun, because it's easy to pull of st.P -> FK and it's less risky than a BnB combo (especially with lag).
Guile has short combos, so doing FA after stun is fine. Characters in crumple state have a wider hit box too
Lol I knew someone would chime in and go off on a rant First off, being a noob means nothing to me in terms of respect. You could be the worst player on volt but I'd respect you for many other reasons, ie not rage quitting, not winning and running after one game, not posting replays and talking shit or only posting replays of your wins with no comment about your losses. In fact there are plenty of noobs that I respect that I have invited to TA because they would be a worthy addition to the forum. I also made sure to point out, as you noted, that I don't represent TA and I said that for a reason. I am not the best player either in terms of skill or in terms of being a respectful player. I get salty and I only like playing a certain way and I know people hate that about me but I don't hold it against them and I have tried many things to make me a better person but I'm not perfect and I admit it and I have no problem apologizing to those that I offend. I know I've played you but I don't remember you so if you are offended by what I said or what I do, it's not personal and it's just me being open and honest (there are too many people who are nice to your face and then talk crap behind your back, I don't do that, you will always know where I stand).
