I suppose you don't like playing anything other than PC/PS3/360 High Detailed 3D games then either? I wouldn't be so quick to judge a game by how it looks. This game is fantastic, and even looks great considering.
Ranked players who are obsessed on having a winning streak by cheating the system in this game needs to grow a pair. I've been beating players who have a steak of no losses and they all do the same thing: rage quit right after I get the winning attack. It doesn't count as a win or loss, but a simple "disconnected" message and that's it. Nothing gets recorded like it never happened. Until Capcom does something about these losers I suggest staying away from ranked matches as there's a lot of people quitting right after you win.
Downloaded it as soon as it was available last night and then tried multiplayer. The guy I played against just sat there and threw fire balls at me the entire time (sorry for not using proper attack names, I'm not that big into SF) and whenever I finally got close to him by jumping he'd kick me and then back up more. I really hope the whole community won't be like this cause that's just BS. That game was no fun at all.
for ipod touch 2g owners: just bought it and played once through arcade mode. The game run slow because of old hardware i think, but its ok. Think of 50hz PAL game the other problem there is an ugly filter covering the lower half of the screen.it cover only the background, not the characters. This is probably only a on 2g devices. I think as long you buy it for low price its ok deal, cause Im pretty sure capcom will put some extra char in the future updates, some that will never make the jump to the first game. other than that what you get here is survival mode unlocked from the start and a bonus stage with akuma who kick asses
That's just good tactics. There are ways to counter that. Practice makes perfect. It wasn't me btw. I bought this game, but I haven't installed it yet.
There's no such thing as an EX FADC. I'll use a Shoryuken as an example. When you hit the opponent, hold down the focus button, dash back or forward, then let go of the focus button. That's it. FADC stands for "Focus Attack Dash Cancel", and from there you can combo that into other specials, or what most people use it for, Ultras. You shouldn't even be holding down the focus button really, it's should be a quick hold for a quarter of a second, dash, then let go. EDIT: As for why sometimes it won't come out, it's because performing an FADC takes up two of the four sections of your Super bar. If it doesn't come out, chances are, you didn't have enough meter.
That pisses me off. It looks like I never win right now because people disconnect as their losing. That's such an @$$hole thing to do.
Man so many rage quitters, if anyone wants to play add me on GC my username is Voloster I consider myself pretty decent at the iPhone port so I'm hoping to play other people who don't just quit after losing the first round.
Guys this has happened to me everytime to. I am starting to think it could be a bug. I doubt you guys are all getting people quitting like that. Could just be a problem on Capcom's end. Anyone got confirmation of losing a match?
I see. Just now I googled and there is this explanation. FADC - Focus attack that operates defensively (cancel out FA by dashing as FA is not suitable for that situation) EX FADC -Focus attack that operates offensively (to cancel out extra animation and movement to follow up with ultras) as for EX i think it was named tat way because it uses up 2 bars of super
just now i play on9 with my friend and it disconnect after a few games. I know my frient wont quit without telling me. So maybe it's kind of bug but im not sure.
Oh sick! I'll check it out! Bodied a Cody player online today! If only I was this good on the Arcade Edition I have on the PS3 that is being neglected! =D
I would think that, but it always happens to be right after the final blow in the final round. If that's a bug, it's a pretty major one.
