I don't like doing jump/throw mix ups when it is laggy coz that will be too easy. It is really hard to defend from that tactic in laggy condition, so I don't wanna abuse that to my advantage.

If she timed it poorly then u can, but no Viper will use that as a reversal coz it is so punishable on block... The smart ones always combo into it

I think the invinc is still needed otherwise every1 will abuse neutral jumps... Which is the current state of SFxT... Just nerf the recovery make it punishable on block but keep the Anti air priority

GGs man. Sorry I had to run. I was standing up and couldn't seem to get any inputs right. I need to finish putting away laundry unfortunately, and then put the kids to bed. If you're still around in an hour let me know. I have the house to myself tonight once the kids are in bed and will be hitting up a little Volt.

In laggy matches countering anything is difficult. You're doing a chain combo into launcher in SFxTK in a laggy match? Zasca, the second attack wasn't detected and you just did a light attack into damn unsafe tag in. The other guy used Ken's SRK in Volt and you tried to counter it with a light attack into combo? Zasca, you eat SRK. If you really don't want to abuse some tactics that are unbeatable under some circumstances, then I'd say that you should avoid using Kaz's Special Step in any match :p
And I meant that I didn't know if Viper's Ultra could be avoided just by jumping. I try to block most Ultras and then punish instead of trying to punish them before they reach active frames or something, except Akuma's and Abel's Ultra, of course. There I just use SRK.

His mist step is OP? It loses to any low attack doesn't it?

Knowing how to avoid ultra is useful sometimes u just can't take the chip. I have dodged several ultras all sort of ways before like Abel's roll, Cody's ex zonk, Makoto's ex chop.

If you want, we can play SFxTK now and I will choose Kaz and show you how OP he is :D

The low battery message came up, but still his mist step into anything had huge recovery I don't think it is OP

Well, you obviously knew I was going to use Mist Step xD
I will tell you some things about it:
Mist Step has invinc against both standing and air attacks.
    Followups:
Rising Uppercut: safe on block. This means that Rising Uppercut against air attacks will be 100% safe. Hugo can't use his Body Press spam trap in corner against Kaz.
Dragon Uppercut: it has invinc, and two followups: an overhead and a low hitting move. It's really cool to chip out someone. The lowhitting one is almost safe on block.
Spinning Demon: this is the thing I didn't master yet. It has way more priority than any other lowhitting attack in the game, and just like DU it has two different followups.

This means that chiping out Kaz at wakeup is almost impossible. I already talked with Harle about this some time ago. Guile's meaty SB and FK don't work since they hit high instead of low, so Mist Step just avoid them. You can't chip him out even with SRK and such. The only attack that can chip him away without problems is Paul's low followup to Sway.

And about avoiding Ultras in Volt, I only do EX Chop with Makoto and sometimes teleport with Akuma and then Ultra. I still don't get how some Ultras work, so I still need to work that part of the game. Yesterday I saw a guy whiffing the first Knee Press of Bison's Ultra, and by error I used Akuma's Ultra and he grabbed Bison before he could start the second KP.

Yeah I got matched up against snooper!! Gg!

I would have played more but the lag was becoming unbearable.

This was my first day using sim so I'm clueless when it comes to timing and match ups.

The deejay v cammy matches were fun and close!

    Welcome back!

GGs shane, haven't played you in a LOOOONNGG time. Impressive Dee Jay. Forgot how annoying your blanka was, figured I had to stop playing patient and just ho nuts.

And don't even try Sim-Cammy :D So free for cammy.

Yeah, I just play for fun now and only use blanka as a last match kind of thing but since I haven't played you in so long I couldn't resist.

I'm still off/off btw;) and I'm finding that as I play more random the non charge moves are becoming easier but reacting and mashing a DP is still almost impossible.

Oh and can I upload the last deejay/cammy match, I thought it was a good one and came down to the wire.

Amen to not taking this game too seriously. After all it's an iphone game

With the camm-sim matchup, it's not too bad until you get knocked down. Once you're down you're in trouble. Never teleport on wakeup either. Best option is probably back dash.

You should really consider doing some matches using standard characters (shotos) very often. It will help to improve reaction and it's a nice experience (even losing feels good if you bring a decent match).

Man, you look very innocent with this statement. I hate to say that things have changed a lot (and for bad) around the game.

I'm gonna make a document on Google Docs on the next days where people could sign in.

Sinces there wasn't enough feedback, I'd stick with single elimination.
