I think it also happened in our Gief vs Gief match. I blocked one of your attacks, and while I was still blocking you used Ultra, so I was able to counter your Ultra with my own Ultra.

 

Against my Sim he was super aggressive. Hard style to counter for Sim. He sent me a lot of hate messages too. He takes this game way too seriously.

 

That guy plays super lame and rage quits. Effective though.

 

I don't know about Makoto so much, but the rest plus Bison are awful matchups. Most of them are still fun though, except Blanka and maybe Makoto.

 

Viper's BK does too.

 

I thought everyone knew that about Sim's ultra. He should never ultra at point blank. It loses to everything.

 

I had no idea about it either.... all I knew was that it had no invinciblity frames.

 

Abel's Tornado Throw (I don't remember which one of them) beats Gief's ultra too. I can't remember if you can normal grab Gief when he's about to ultra, though.

 

Any projectile will nullify sim super.

TT beats gief because it has throw invincibility.

 

Well just as I decided to get back into volt I've had some technical problems, so that's why I sort of popped in and then disappeared again. Just got a new iPhone, so I should be good to play some games tomorrow, busy later tonight. Looking forward to playing all of you!

Ah ok. Np. Btw, makoto has a really good backdash. It's the best way to avoid gief on wakeup

 

I know, but after failing countless EX Chops, EX Karakusas and combos in the first two matches I just gave up on that one and started doing silly things.

 

I can't remember the timing on this but I don't think you can do it after the ultra animation.

 

You need to use TT right before Gief uses Ultra.

Saw me with Fei on the 6th game and just quit haha!!!

He is good practice to deal with lame/scrub once u can make him quit u have no trouble with any scrubby tactics lol

 

I love doing jumping MK into TT they always mash ultra right after they blocked a jump in

When ur TT beats ultra you just feel like a boss

BTW, just beat edgarucci using Akuma. Too bad I couldn't save the replay because the delete replay trick didn't work. I lost the first round, made the best comeback in my Volt career (xD) in the second one, and in the third round he RQ. No one likes Wrath of the Raging Demon
