What would people like to see in a combo video?

    Multiple characters?
One main character? (Anyone character in particular)
A 'character guide'? (Like for what I did with Guile and optimised combos)
    Reset (ideas)?
    Other ideas/suggestions?

    A new challenger has appeared.

Under a different name and with a new main.

    Fun shall be had.

a character guide will be so different it won't be considered as a combo video any more...

make a ''come-back compilation'', always entertaining to watch how people can fight back with pixels left

Agreed. His combos are just insane, without even talking about Genei Jin. Makoto is also very fun :D

I'd also like to see a come-back compilation, but maybe that's a bit difficult. I rather have a multiple chars video than single char though.

Oh, and I just did the Guile combo you said before. Easy combo . I landed it near the corner, but not exactly in the corner, otherwise Ultra would whiff.

Wow, at first I thought that resets with Makoto weren't that useful (except Karakusa x2), but:
FA lvl 3, Fukiage, j.HP (will reset) -> 306 damage
Dash (cross up), Karakusa, st.HP xx Hayate, Super, Ultra -> 575 damage

This "combo" kills Akuma. Using st.MP, st.MP, cr.MP xx Hayate after Karakusa stuns him :D

Well, I was thinking of doing a similar thing for my guile one. Show optimised combos and some safe jump setups

Nash said he wanted to do comebacks, so I'll leave that to him. Plus, I'd tear my eyes out watching replays on BN

FA 3, Fukiage, J P, dash will crossunder 18/22 chars. There are even other options you can do after. Tsurugi (Axe kick) will catch people who try to neutral jump out of karakusa.

Actually, FA 3, J P will actually connect against all 22 chars and you can cross under against 18 of them if you hit the J P very deep

In addition, you can cancel/link various normals into karakusa to punish those people that want to stay close.

Oh, I thought the comeback video would be made with your own replays, that's why I said that it would be a bit difficult xD
I didn't try j.HP right after FA, but what do you mean by canceling/linking normals into Karakusa? Do you mean whiffing a normal in purpose after the crossunder before they reach the floor to make them "block" the Karakusa? Otherwise, st.MP xx Karakusa doesn't work :p
In fact I don't use Karakusa that much. Only after avoiding an attack while the opponent is recovering or after some pressure (Kaoruna and Hayate are cool for command grab).

So let your normal get blocked or even hit them and then use karakusa.

Just from my own quick testing, cr lk, karakusa works. So does Kaoruna, Karakusa. Also ending a combo with hayate, karakusa works too.

    The low tier.
Most people are so damn scared of the karakusa that a meaty st p into ex chop on a reset is my go to option.

cr.LK is just a low-hitting version of the Kaoruna without that great frame advantage Kaoruna has, and it doesn't push Makoto forward. It's better than using Karakusa after Kaoruna because most people already expect Karakusa after Kaoruna (from my little experience with Makoto in Ranked though), but I still hate this move. You can't combo it into anything, except EX Hayate, and, well, that's useless :/

    cr lk hayate combos

i dont use it a ton, but it has its place, esp since its her only low hitting move and a lot of people like to only block high on makoto

after a knockdown in the corner, on their wakeup i like doing jump toward k (crossup), cr lk, ex chop

it's a nice high/low/high that people have trouble blocking

I never use EX Chop as special cancel move, not even in combos. I always wait after a normal so the opponent can mash an attack, and then EX Chop. It also works as anti air, and for avoiding ground pressure after a blocked air attack, just like a SRK.

you should, it's an awesome hard knockdown that does a ton of damage and sets up a lot of her shenanigans

In this game I'm not very good at wake up game. Most of the time I just wait, bait or SRK with Akuma xD
I'll try to learn some vortex game with Makoto then.

Don't ever say 'never'. Sometimes it's interesting and might catch someone off guard. It doesn't even need to be a true combo/block string. Against charge characters, just st p xx EX Chop can catch a lot of crouchers

@Droo, I *think* the only chars makoto can't cross under with FA 3 (Fukiage), J P are Blanka, DJ, Ken and Ryu

So I ran into this guy named I LAUGH AT SH!T TALKERS which I (correctly) supposed that he was the BP MEAN SH!T of the other day. First match was a close one but I managed to win, the next two he became predictable but still put up a challenge. Then he switched to Sagat and won the next two using an improved version of his Akuma strategy. After a (lucky, why not?) win of mine he returned to Akuma and I beat easily. I lef because I had to and he sent me a hate message. After a while he just started to being racist.

Here are some replays that prove that I play (according to him) worst than App (?)

    HR,

She can go under all 4 of those, I just tested!

I'm surprised tho, always rare when you are wrong about something re: Volt.
