Snooper!!!!! I miss your rush down cammy!!

Guys check out my last replay, forward hop to ultra! And yes it's a real forward hop! I was actually trying to cross up ultra but I guess I pressed the directionals a little too early.

I've never seen anyone pull this off in volt and I've never been able to do it in AE either. I can do focus->cancel->forward->ultra but never just a straight hop to ultra. I'm stoked because now that I know its possible I can practice.

have always enjoyed playing Yun, started the character with Felix. Wasn't good enough to play him seriously coz of his MANY really bad match ups and thought the character had no future. This is one of the reasons why Felix quit Volting too I think... I have already found a lot of resets back then just wasn't good enough to find a chance to use them consistently.

Then I met TenOnez, got destroyed by his Yun like 7-40  Understanding that the character still has potential with the right patience, spacing and timing... etc I started to play Yun again.

my point is, learning a character from another person is totally good. There are so many ''OK'' players out there who have stopped learning just sticking to the same tactic, and once their tactic don't work = quit, or even worse: a RQ...

Obviously it is awesome if you can develop your own tricks and style that gave you enough wins to keep you going! However if there is a day when people start ''copying'' me, I'd be happy to know that I have inspired some1.

Met this Cyssero guy with Sagat. After 2 games losing to his neutral jumping tactics I just start doing walk up flame kicks (was playing Fei) and won the next 4 games... with him RQed on the 4th

yep it is totally fine when u win with neutral jumping elbows all day, but obviously when I started to walk up flame kick it is totally unacceptable and considered cheating or cheap

Yeah he gets boring after a while. I still don't understand why more sagat players don't play rush down.

I can also do the hop-> ultra about 50% of the time now:D

The hop to ultra is pretty easy. You can also hop through them and do it.

Though, the hop forward is slower than a forward dash...

Edit: I did a new(ish) guile combo. he jumped into a sonic boom and I was following it in jumping in too. But I managed to land and followup with GHK (accidentally)

    New safe jumps:

    Cody:
    (EX) Criminal Upper
    teched - Jump
    Unteched - Bad Stone, Jump

This is a really cool one. If they do tech and you went for bad stone, you can't be punished unless they are cornered. If they don't react, but just tech it, the bad stone will hit them. If you mash out the bad stone twice and they don't tech, the second bad stone will hit them out of a mashed shoryuken (unless they are ken)

    cr rh
    cr mp, Jump

    (EX) Zonk
    Unteched - FA 1, jump
(It's pretty awesome, you look like a retard doing it)
    E Honda:
    EX Headbutt
    unteched - dash x2, Jump

    Throw
    Dash, Jump

    Cammy:
    (EX) Cannon Spike (ground)
    Unteched - Dash x2, Jump

    (EX) Axle Spin Knuckle
    Unteched - Dash x3, Jump

(The cammy ones are pretty impractical...)

Such an easy set up so effective too coz once they fell for it (blocked SRK) you can punish with stHP xx CU and set them up again.

I believe Sakura's SRK has the same set up too if the teched it.

my Sagat doesn't win a lot but I still forward dash like crazy with him :p

Multiple crMK is actually good pressure coz it doesn't knock back opponent by much and pretty safe unless facing a grappler... but yea most Sagats are really boring just tiger knee randomly at mid-range (even more brain-dead than just fireballs coz that move has an OP hitbox)

Sorry I meant forward dash not hop. If its easy why have I never seen it done? The only people who have claimed to have done it only pulled it off because their opponent did an ultra right when they dashed forward. The ultra animation counts as charge time.

I don't think you can do a surprise forward to ultra in volt, you will just get an ex forward ball. However if you can pull it off post it and post you doing a forward dash to ultra;)

Try and rain on my parade....

    :p

Got same kind of msg from him, only way to shut him up is to beat him up. Next time show no mercy, kick his axx, he'll keep silent. But you may still get some msg like 'I got bored of your Viper', lol.

yeah, most of the time they speak Chinese, I can translate for u, also they can speak a little English too. the real problem is when fighting them, the connection is kind of lag.

About the safe jumps, after some knockdowns with Akuma I mostly walk a bit and then jump over the opponent with the right timing. At corner is very useful.

no, my sagat getting rusty now, most of the time I play Viper + Cammy + Abel + Vega + Akuma + Ken just for fun:D. I should watch and learn your replays:D

also there's one day a guy called '<--grandie-->' he has a really good Zangief.

I played him! I ran over his Abel with cammy and he brought out Gief and I used Ryu. It was ugly...he totally crushed me.

I had time for one more and my Cammy took him :D We sent some friendly banter through gamecenter and he is seeking revenge in the future :D

He seems like a cool player :)

I've played BP Points Don't Mean Sh*t a bunch lately but no hate mail. I don't remember him one way or another except the name, so I don't imagine he impressed me.

Calipower is great. Seems like a real nice guy too.
