How would you know they are different, if you have 0 knowledge about AE?

And yes, it does matter. In terms of mechanics, they are very similar

I never said "you know nothing about Volt because you don't play AE".

I'm just saying you have no argument because you profess to have little to no knowledge of AE and you say that AE isn't similar to Volt.

It's like you saying that you've never tried an Orange and you have tried Mandarins, therefore they can't be similar.

I swear I have seen CPU Cody hopping over my crMK when I played Ryu?

Jaw crusher even stop cross over at times... But most can't space and time it well like TenOnez... Not sure how much better it is in AE though

From my experience ppl use more stHK or crHP as an AA when I fight those AE Codys

I agree on ex Zonk being not so good as a wake up option, but that move is still awesome (counter pokes, frame trap... Etc)

Oh, some things go under Crack Kick. But even in AE Crack Kick isn't considered airborne.

Jaw Crusher, as one of my friends says, is the 2nd best aa normal in AE. It's frames are far better in AE and it resets than down at a nice distance for you. I like to use far st hp as a far aa.

I tried to learn him in AE, as a secondary of Guy

    Final fight combination :D

But then my keyboard doesn't let me kick when I charge zonk :( I think his normals have one of the best frames adv. in AE
too bad they don't work in volts

I'm trying to compare known information from AE to Volt. You say you don't know anything about AE and that it doesn't matter. I'm saying it does. Your grounds for saying it doesn't matter is that this game is Volt and you are talking about Volt

My argument: You are attempting to rationalise your style as 'cautious' with only your knowledge of Volt. It is difficult to classify a style, but most easily it can be seen as a dichotomy of aggressive vs passive/defensive. I am attempting to infer this knowledge from AE, which I say is very similar in terms of mechanics to Volt. I feel like you are not agreeing with this comparison

    Thanks.

What do you mean as 'cautious' style?

Also what does everything think about 'cheap' players? I feel like I can play cheap at times and I know Apprunner loves playing 'cheap' too.

Thanks for explaining that hieu. I think, I really like putting pressure on people's wakeup, even with wakeup grabs or safe jumps. But what I really like about Guile is he can be 'cautious' too by just throwing a meaty sonic boom and seeing how they react to that. (But I also like to jumpin after meaty sonic booms).

I think though, that Volt is dominated by cheap tactics. Characters have less options and SP assist makes the spam easy. Personally, I'm all in favour of smacking someone around with the same few tactics if they can't defend against it...

    Sagat/Guile/Deejay/Akuma fireball spam.
DeeJay's (meaty) air slasher, double sobat kicks
    Kens that unpredictably mash srk
Teleporters against character with trash mobility
Vega's flying attacks in certain matchups
    (Neutral) jumps against Abel/Sakura/Cody/Makoto
    Guile's J K, cr rh reps

cr mk xx m TK/Tiger knee actually is really frustrating if they start trying to bait out the mashed uppercuts.

There are also some pretty frustrating Codys out there *Cough* Hazur3 *cough* that only use zonk. It's timed so well that I can't jump in and have to resort to sonic boom spam

I think, what I'm referring to is "cheese - to use an extremely overpowered and unfair tactic or technique" (From Sonic Hurricane)

IMO people spamming zanku hadokens while jumping backwards and teleporting the whole match is far more annoying and cheap than any other strategy.

crLK into Stomp unblockable when there is input lag
Ken's 0f SRK recovery with input lag
Bison's 0f teleport recovery with input lag
Gief's mashing reversal lariat/ultra outta true block-strings with input lag

one simply just can't play Volt wtih a serious manner when there is input lag

Ken's SRK blocked then mashed ultra!!!!!!!!!!!!

best frame trap with lag LOL

every time I blocked a Ken SRK online all I had to do was press nothing and watch them fly happily high up in the air and land while I'm charging the lv3 FA

seriously they will do it like 99.9% of the time :p

Oh yeah. Who is this "Brosu" guy. Apparently he has 5.8k BP but his play is pretty mediocre

Cheers for the games wedia. I was running out of characters I can play and my battery is low. Good to see you still around (even if you aren't on the TA team).

GGs Harle! I knew you were anticipating my Sagat but he is rusty. I chose Guile to go against your guile instead. Fun matches.
For some reason, I couldn't join TAAC. It says Error....
