Absolutely. After a whiffed SRK for example, get right next to them for a 3-hit CW, and you'll be able to land P-rekka x 3. Timing is tricky, but it's there. It's maybe a 1~2-frame link, similar to akuma's double roundhouse-P.

edit: i've gotten it after 1-hit CWs and 2-hit CWs as well.

Beast thing to follow it up is the flame kick.
Then if u have two bars, u can fadc into another chicken wing

Hey man good 10 set, your Sagat is pretty strong. I swear to God everytime the match up started and I saw your sig I laughed alittle everytime.

The Fei V Fei match is all about who makes the first mistake my suggestion is to not use the flame kick at all for anything other then anti air or combos, It's too punishable.

I really enjoyed the Sagat match ups though cause they are tough for Fei cause it makes me work to get in and stay in, so I enjoyed the practice.

I loved the fact I got a perfect in match 3 but lost every match after that.
Shoulda won the last one though. Thought you could do the c. throw into ultra. Apperantly not.

But yeah. I think I try a little too hard for combos. Thats why I keep throwing chicken wings and flamekicks. I probably would have given up on learning Fei if he wasn't so much like Bruce Lee.

    And my sig=100% true. :p

I feel your pain about the combos thing I like to play real flashy in AE but the Volt lag mixed with the sometime inconsistent touch controls makes that really risky and rarely pays off.

Haha and yea that round 3 perfect hurt for sure.

We will have to grind that Fei:Sagat match out sometime I gotta learn the best way to handle that match up.

Lmao! I just did my tournament match with wediafom. Guess who he picked in the first round? Akuma. Guess what he did? Spam fireballs.

He won though. Because he picked Abel in the next two rounds and kept tornado throwing me.

I recall having done a CW, followed up by a heavy punch and then Rekka x3... it's all about timing.

I've learned that P+rekka x 3 is deathly punishing for whiffed moves. Ate them all day long.

Also, Fei's focus has pretty good range.

Thanks for the matches Voloster!! A whole bunch of those matches could have gone either way !!

edit: aww you didn't let me use sakura and makoto -- those would have been freebies for u :)

i wanted to ask for some basic canceling into super from special move,

as far from my understanding, if wanted to do perform Shinkuu Hadouken from shoryuken

    basically we have to do

    1) forward - down - down forward + p
    2) down - down forward - forward + p

is there any other way to do it? except replace the reverse Z movement

    ie.
    down forward - down - downforward + p
    then QCF + P

No no, not at all! It was pretty even split, 50-50!!

Once I figured out your habits, I got a few freebies off you until you adjusted and stopped using "that" move ;)

    edit:
I expected the fei-gief match-up to heavily favour gief. apparently not. got whooped.
fei-cody seemed even, but I think that's because nobody uses cody so voloster wasn't ready for it. i'd like to see fei rekka after blocking a tornado punch.
fei-deejay should go heavily in fei's favour, but vol didn't punish the double-kick with rekkas.
fei-balrog seemed to favour balrog, but i don't know what happens if fei attempts for rekkas after blocking a dash punch.
fei-bison, it's bison all day, though bison gets caught with a rekka retaliation after scissor kick depending on the range.
fei-vega, vega's a bit stuck without options when cornered, except maybe doing backflips. lack of good anti-CW options hurt.
fei-dhalsim, i think could be even. cw seems to hit extended arms.
fei-honda i think leans honda's way, as long as honda doesn't headbutt from too close, and buffers in a low-kick beforehand.
fei-cammy seems to be very even, with cammy's footspeed helping a lot, but needs to play a very defensive game.

It's funny because the matches I thought I was gonna lose like Gief and Guile I won pretty easily but matches like Codey and Chun which I went in thinking I was gonna win pretty easy I ended up losing.

I'm glad you ran most of the cast though gave me an idea of what matchups I need to work on.

I'm usually always game to play some rounds so if you ever want to go again don't be afraid to shoot me a request the only times I'll decline is if I'm working or not on wifi, or if my wife is yelling at me for playing too many video games haha.

yeah, after your comment earlier about wanting to play against sagat a bit more, I figured it'd be interesting to see what the different match-ups would show.

i still insist that chun is a beast, but snooper proved me otherwise -- she's very match-up dependent.

Yea I was too careless with her, I beat her down the first round and then you adapted quickly to my aggression the second and third round. I just take her lightly because she only as one real reliable anti air in volt which is her ex spk but you kept Fei out with her nasty pokes and what I thought up until then was her terrible fireball game.

between the four slow-fireball characters, chun/deejay/guile/dhalsim, i think chun's probably the most dangerous, and guile the least dangerous. chun has so many options to chase up fireball with a secondary attack.

her lack of an anti-air definitely hurts, she really needs to zone her matches to keep ppl off her.

your chun was great. abel-chun is about even imo. its kind of tough to get in on chun with abel. shes got the 2nd best throw range in the game so she can punish rolls easily, her anti airs are great and she has a fireball which is hard to punish with ultra. try using her sweep as anti air if they land in front of you. her standing hard kick and crouching medium punch are also good at the right ranges. but if abel gets in chun cant do much except ex sbk and jump away....

Far out your deejay is annoying. his double kick thing is like bisons scissor kick. im gonna have to hit up he training room and find a way to punish it with abel. thats the benefit of using lower tier characters, nobody knows the matchup :D

    dammit deejay's not lower-tier !! =)

and yea, chun's low-sweep is a great for zoning when ppl jump her fireballs.
